The Ghost has active sway bars, which help keep it flat and controlled during cornering, but disconnect at lower speeds to smooth the ride and offer greater off-road suspension articulation. This helps keep the tires glued to the road on-road and off. The G90 doesn’t offer an active sway bar system.
The front and rear suspension of the Ghost uses air springs for a smoother, controlled ride than the G90 3.5T, which uses coil springs. Air springs maintain proper ride height and ride more smoothly.
The Ghost offers an available adjustable active suspension system, which counteracts cornering forces actively, limiting body roll and improving handling and stability. Genesis doesn’t offer an active suspension on the G90.
For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Ghost’s wheelbase is 4.5 inches longer than on the G90 (129.7 inches vs. 125.2 inches). The Ghost Extended’s wheelbase is 10.8 inches longer than on the G90 (136 inches vs. 125.2 inches).
The Ghost handles at .90 G’s, while the G90 3.5T e-SC pulls only .83 G’s of cornering force in a Motor Trend skidpad test.
The Ghost executes Motor Trend’s “Figure Eight” maneuver quicker than the G90 3.5T e-SC (25.3 seconds @ .75 average G’s vs. 26.2 seconds @ .68 average G’s).
