The GT comes with a full 3-year/unlimited-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire car and includes free 24-hour roadside assistance. The AMG SL’s 50,000-mile basic warranty expires sooner.
The McLaren GT’s corrosion warranty is 5 years longer than the AMG SL’s (10 vs. 5 years).
McLaren pays for scheduled maintenance on the McLaren GT for 3 years and unlimited miles. McLaren will pay for oil changes, air filter replacements, cabin filter replacement, brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance. The McLaren GT’s 225/35R20 front and 295/30R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the AMG SL’s standard 40 series front and 35 series rear tires.
