An active infrared night vision system optional on the Urus helps the driver to more easily detect people, animals or other objects in front of the vehicle at night. Using an infrared camera and near-infrared lights to detect heat, the system then displays the image on a monitor in the dashboard. The Purosangue doesn’t offer a night vision system.
The Urus offers an optional Top View Camera to allow the driver to see objects all around the vehicle on a screen. The Purosangue only offers a rear monitor.
Both the Urus and Purosangue offer rear cross-traffic warning, but the Urus with Rear Cross-Traffic Assist also has Automatic Brake Activation (automatically applies the brakes) to better prevent a collision when backing near traffic. The Purosangue’s Rear Cross Traffic Alert doesn’t automatically brake.
Both the Urus and the Purosangue have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, rearview cameras, available lane departure warning systems and blind spot warning systems.
