The Purosangue has a standard blind spot warning system that uses sensors to alert the driver to objects in the vehicle’s blind spots where the side view mirrors don’t reveal them. A system to reveal vehicles in the Urus’ blind spot costs extra.

To help make backing out of a parking space safer, the Purosangue has standard Rear Cross Traffic Alert, helping the driver avoid collisions. Lamborghini charges extra for Rear Cross-Traffic Assist on the Urus.

The Purosangue’s driver alert monitor detects an inattentive driver then sounds a warning and suggests a break. According to the NHTSA, drivers who fall asleep cause about 100,000 crashes and 1500 deaths a year. The Urus doesn’t offer a driver alert monitor.

Both the Purosangue and the Urus have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes and rearview cameras.

Ferrari pays for scheduled maintenance on the Purosangue for 2 years and unlimited miles longer than Lamborghini pays for maintenance for the Urus (7/unlimited vs. 5/75000).

The Purosangue’s 6.5 DOHC V12 produces 58 more horsepower (715 vs. 657) than the Urus’ 4.0 turbo V8.

The Purosangue has 3.9 gallons more fuel capacity than the Urus (26.4 vs. 22.5 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

The Purosangue offers a standard sequential manual gearbox (SMG). With no clutch pedal to worry about and a fully automatic mode, an SMG is much more efficient than a conventional automatic but just as easy to drive. The Urus doesn’t offer an SMG or a conventional manual transmission.

The Purosangue’s 255/35R22 front and 315/30R23 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Urus’ standard 45 series front and 40 series rear tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Purosangue has standard 22-inch front and 23-inch rear wheels. Smaller 21-inch wheels are standard on the Urus.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires optional on the Purosangue can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The Urus doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Purosangue is 1.3 inches wider in the front and .3 inches wider in the rear than the average track on the Urus.

The Purosangue’s front to rear weight distribution is more even (49% to 51%) than the Urus’ (58% to 42%). This gives the Purosangue more stable handling and braking.

The Ferrari Purosangue may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 250 to 350 pounds less than the Lamborghini Urus.

The Purosangue is 5.5 inches shorter than the Urus S, making the Purosangue easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The Purosangue’s rain-sensitive wipers adjust their speed and turn on and off automatically based on the amount of rainfall on the windshield. This allows the driver to concentrate on driving without constantly adjusting the wipers. The Urus’

Both the Purosangue and the Urus offer optional massaging front seats. The Purosangue also has standard massaging rear seats in order to maximize comfort and eliminate fatigue on long trips. Massaging rear seats aren’t available in the Urus.

To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Ferrari Purosangue has a standard wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the center console. The Urus doesn’t offer wireless personal charging.
