Compare the2024 Aston Martin DBXVS 2024 Ferrari Purosangue

The DBX has a standard Birds-eye Camera to allow the driver to see objects all around the vehicle on a screen. The Purosangue only offers a rear monitor.

Both the DBX and Purosangue have rear cross-traffic warning, but the DBX has Rear Cross Traffic Warning (automatically applies the brakes) to better prevent a collision when backing near traffic. The Purosangue’s Rear Cross Traffic Alert doesn’t automatically brake.

An engine control system that can shut down some of the engine’s cylinders helps improve the DBX’s fuel efficiency. The Purosangue doesn’t offer a system that can shut down part of the engine.

The DBX has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The Purosangue doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

A nine-speed automatic is standard on the Aston Martin DBX, for better acceleration and lower engine speed on the highway. Only an eight-speed automatic is available for the Purosangue.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the DBX offers optional 23-inch wheels. The Purosangue’s largest wheels are only 22-inches in the front and 23-inches in the rear.

The front and rear suspension of the DBX uses air springs for a smoother, controlled ride than the Purosangue, which uses coil springs. Air springs maintain proper ride height and ride more smoothly.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the DBX’s wheelbase is 1.7 inches longer than on the Purosangue (120.5 inches vs. 118.8 inches).

The DBX has standard seating for 5 passengers; the Purosangue can only carry 4.

The DBX has 12 cubic feet more passenger volume than the Purosangue (109 vs. 97).

The DBX has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat up than the Purosangue (22.5 vs. 16.7 cubic feet).

To make loading groceries and cargo easier when your hands are full, the DBX’s available liftgate can be opened and closed just by kicking your foot under the back bumper, leaving your hands completely free. The Purosangue doesn’t offer a hands-free gesture to open its liftgate, forcing you to put cargo down if your hands are full.

The DBX’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Purosangue’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.

The DBX’s Auto Park Assist can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, with the driver only controlling speed with the brake pedal. The Purosangue doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
