The EV6 GT handles at .92 G’s, while the GV60 Performance pulls only .83 G’s of cornering force in a Car and Driver skidpad test.
The EV6 GT executes Motor Trend’s “Figure Eight” maneuver 1.8 seconds quicker than the GV60 Performance (25.1 seconds @ .77 average G’s vs. 26.9 seconds @ .63 average G’s).
For better maneuverability, the EV6’s turning circle is 1 foot tighter than the GV60’s (38.2 feet vs. 39.2 feet).
Chassis
The Kia EV6 may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 100 to 700 pounds less than the Genesis GV60.
The front grille of the EV6 uses electronically controlled shutters to close off airflow and reduce drag when less engine cooling is needed. This helps improve highway fuel economy. The GV60 doesn’t offer active grille shutters.
Passenger Space
The EV6 has .1 inches more front legroom, .3 inches more front shoulder room and 1.4 inches more rear legroom than the GV60.
