The Vantage has standard head airbag curtains which act as a forgiving barrier between the driver and outboard passenger's upper bodies and the window and pillars. Combined with high-strength steel door beams and lower side airbags this system increases head protection in broadside collisions. The Roma doesn't offer side airbag protection for the head.

The Vantage has a standard Birds-eye Camera to allow the driver to see objects all around the vehicle on a screen. The Roma only offers front and rear parking sensors that beep or flash a light. That doesn’t help with obstacles to the sides.

The Vantage’s blind spot warning system uses sensors to alert the driver to objects in the vehicle’s blind spots where the side view mirrors don’t reveal them. The Roma doesn’t offer a system to reveal objects in the driver’s blind spots.

Both the Vantage and the Roma have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding and front and rear parking sensors.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Vantage F1/V12 has standard 21-inch wheels. The Roma’s largest wheels are only 20-inches.

The Vantage has a standard space-saver spare tire so you can replace a flat tire and drive to have the flat repaired or replaced. A spare tire isn’t available on the Roma; it requires you to depend on roadside assistance and your vehicle will have to be towed.

The Vantage has a standard automatic front and rear load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The Roma doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Vantage’s wheelbase is 1.4 inches longer than on the Roma (106.5 inches vs. 105.1 inches).

The Vantage is 7.5 inches shorter than the Roma, making the Vantage easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

For excellent aerodynamics, the Vantage has standard flush composite headlights. The Roma has recessed headlights that spoil its aerodynamic shape and create extra drag.

The Vantage Coupe has a much larger trunk than the Roma (12.2 vs. 10.3 cubic feet).

Unlike the driver-only memory system in the Roma, the Vantage has standard driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position and outside mirror angle and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.

The Vantage’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Roma’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.

Heated windshield washer nozzles are standard on the Vantage to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The Roma doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.

In poor weather, headlights can lose their effectiveness as grime builds up on their lenses. This can reduce visibility without the driver realizing. The Vantage has standard headlight washers to keep headlight output high. The Roma doesn’t offer headlight washers.

The Vantage’s power mirror controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Roma’s power mirror controls are on the dash where they are possibly hidden by the steering wheel and are awkward to manipulate.

On extremely cold winter days, the Vantage’s optional heated steering wheel provides comfort, allowing the driver to steer safely and comfortably before the car heater warms up. The Roma doesn’t offer a heated steering wheel.

The Vantage’s Auto Parking can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, with the driver only controlling speed with the brake pedal. The Roma doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
