The Range Rover Evoque’s standard lane departure warning system alerts a temporarily inattentive driver when the vehicle begins to leave its lane and gently nudges the vehicle back towards its lane. A lane departure warning system costs extra on the Grecale.

The Range Rover Evoque has a standard blind spot warning system that uses sensors to alert the driver to objects in the vehicle’s blind spots where the side view mirrors don’t reveal them. A system to reveal vehicles in the Grecale’s blind spot costs extra.

To help make backing out of a parking space safer, the Range Rover Evoque has standard Rear Traffic Monitor and Rear Traffic Braking automatically engages the brakes to help avoid a collision. Maserati charges extra for Rear Cross Path on the Grecale and the Grecale’s Rear Cross Path does not include automatic braking.

Both the Range Rover Evoque and the Grecale have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, rearview cameras and available around view monitors.

The Range Rover Evoque’s corrosion warranty is 2 years and unlimited miles longer than the Grecale’s (6/unlimited vs. 4/50,000).

There are over 70 percent more Land Rover dealers than there are Maserati dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Range Rover Evoque’s warranty.

J.D. Power and Associates’ 2022 Initial Quality Study of new car owners surveyed provide the statistics that show that Land Rover vehicles are better in initial quality than Maserati vehicles. With 62 fewer problems per 100 vehicles, JD Power ranks Land Rover higher than Maserati.

Regardless of its engine, regenerative brakes improve the Range Rover Evoque’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. Maserati only offers a regenerative brake system on the Grecale GT/Modena.

In its Green Vehicle Guide, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rates the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque higher (7 out of 10) than the Maserati Grecale (5). This means the Range Rover Evoque produces up to 8 pounds less smog-producing pollutants than the Grecale every 15,000 miles.

A nine-speed automatic is standard on the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, for better acceleration and lower engine speed on the highway. Only an eight-speed automatic is available for the Grecale.

The Range Rover Evoque has a standard space-saver spare tire so you can replace a flat tire and drive to have the flat repaired or replaced. A spare tire isn’t available on the Grecale; it requires you to depend on roadside assistance and your vehicle will have to be towed.

For better maneuverability, the Range Rover Evoque’s turning circle is 2.8 feet tighter than the Grecale’s (38 feet vs. 40.8 feet).

For greater off-road capability the Range Rover Evoque has a greater minimum ground clearance than the Grecale Trofeo (8.3 vs. 7.9 inches), allowing the Range Rover Evoque to travel over rougher terrain without being stopped or damaged. The Range Rover Evoque’s minimum ground clearance is .3 inch higher than on the Grecale (8.3 vs. 8 inches).

The Land Rover Range Rover Evoque may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 350 to 400 pounds less than the Maserati Grecale.

The Range Rover Evoque is 1 foot, 6.7 inches shorter than the Grecale, making the Range Rover Evoque easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The Range Rover Evoque has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat up than the Grecale (21.6 vs. 18.9 cubic feet).

Unlike the driver-only memory system in the Grecale, the Range Rover Evoque SE/HST has standard driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position (with optional power wheel adjuster) and outside mirror angle and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.

In poor weather, headlights can lose their effectiveness as grime builds up on their lenses. This can reduce visibility without the driver realizing. The Range Rover Evoque offers available headlight washers to keep headlight output high. The Grecale doesn’t offer headlight washers.

To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque has a standard wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the center console. Wireless charging costs extra on the Grecale.

The Range Rover Evoque’s optional Park Assist can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, with the driver only controlling speed with the brake pedal. The Grecale doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
