There are almost 8 times as many Chrysler dealers as there are Audi dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the 300’s warranty.

The 300C’s standard 6.4 V8 produces 41 more horsepower (485 vs. 444) and 33 lbs.-ft. more torque (475 vs. 442) than the S6’s 2.9 turbo V6 hybrid.

An engine control system that can shut down some of the engine’s cylinders helps improve the 300 V8’s fuel efficiency. The S6 doesn’t offer a system that can shut down part of the engine.

The 300 has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The S6 doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the 300’s wheelbase is 4.7 inches longer than on the S6 (120 inches vs. 115.3 inches).

For better maneuverability, the 300’s turning circle is 2.3 feet tighter than the S6’s (37.4 feet vs. 39.7 feet).

The Chrysler 300 may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 100 to 450 pounds less than the Audi S6.

Because it has more passenger and cargo room, the EPA rates the 300 a Large car, while the S6 is rated a Mid-size.

Insurance will cost less for the 300 owner. The Complete Car Cost Guide estimates that insurance for the 300 will cost $4960 to $7240 less than the S6 over a five-year period.

IntelliChoice estimates that five-year ownership costs (depreciation, financing, insurance, fuel, fees, repairs and maintenance) for the Chrysler 300 will be $32432 to $41445 less than for the Audi S6.
