The F-Pace’s standard lane departure warning system alerts a temporarily inattentive driver when the vehicle begins to leave its lane and gently nudges the vehicle back towards its lane. A lane departure warning system costs extra on the Grecale.

The F-Pace has a standard blind spot warning system that uses sensors to alert the driver to objects in the vehicle’s blind spots where the side view mirrors don’t reveal them and moves the vehicle back into its lane. A system to reveal vehicles in the Grecale’s blind spot costs extra.

To help make backing out of a parking space safer, the F-Pace has standard Rear Traffic Warning and Rear Traffic Braking automatically engages the brakes to help avoid a collision. Maserati charges extra for Rear Cross Path on the Grecale and the Grecale’s Rear Cross Path does not include automatic braking.

Both the F-Pace and the Grecale have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, rearview cameras and available around view monitors.

The F-Pace comes with a full 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire truck and includes 24-hour roadside assistance. The Grecale’s 4-year/50,000-mile basic warranty expires 1 year or 10,000 miles sooner.

The F-Pace’s corrosion warranty is 2 years and unlimited miles longer than the Grecale’s (6/unlimited vs. 4/50,000).

Jaguar pays for scheduled maintenance on the F-Pace for 5 years and 60,000 miles. Jaguar will pay for oil changes, lubrication and any other required maintenance. Maserati doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the Grecale.

There are over 63 percent more Jaguar dealers than there are Maserati dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the F-Pace’s warranty.

J.D. Power and Associates’ 2022 Initial Quality Study of new car owners surveyed provide the statistics that show that Jaguar vehicles are better in initial quality than Maserati vehicles. With 45 fewer problems per 100 vehicles, JD Power ranks Jaguar higher than Maserati.

Regardless of its engine, regenerative brakes improve the F-Pace’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. Maserati only offers a regenerative brake system on the Grecale GT/Modena.

The F-Pace has 5 gallons more fuel capacity than the Grecale (21.9 vs. 16.9 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

For better traction, the F-Pace has larger standard tires than the Grecale (255/55R19 vs. 235/55R19). The F-Pace SVR’s front tires are larger than the largest tires available on the Grecale (F:265/45R21 & R:295/40R21 vs. F:255/45R20 & R:295/40R20).

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the F-Pace offers optional 22-inch wheels. The Grecale’s largest wheels are only 21-inches.

Having a flat tire is dangerous, inconvenient and expensive. The self-sealing tires available on the F-Pace can automatically seal most punctures up to 3/16 of an inch, effectively preventing most flat tires. The Grecale doesn’t offer self-sealing tires.

The F-Pace offers an optional full size spare tire so a flat doesn’t interrupt your trip. A full size spare isn’t available on the Grecale; it requires you to depend on roadside assistance and your vehicle will have to be towed.

For better maneuverability, the F-Pace’s turning circle is 1.6 feet tighter than the Grecale’s (39.2 feet vs. 40.8 feet).

For greater off-road capability the F-Pace has a greater minimum ground clearance than the Grecale Trofeo (8.4 vs. 7.9 inches), allowing the F-Pace to travel over rougher terrain without being stopped or damaged. The Jaguar F-Pace may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs up to about 300 pounds less than the Maserati Grecale.

The F-Pace is 3.9 inches shorter than the Grecale, making the F-Pace easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The F-Pace uses computer-generated active noise cancellation to help remove annoying noise and vibration from the passenger compartment, especially at low frequencies. The Grecale doesn’t offer active noise cancellation.

The F-Pace has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat up than the Grecale (32.1 vs. 18.9 cubic feet).

The F-Pace’s standard towing capacity is much higher than the Grecale’s (5291 vs. 5071 pounds).

Unlike the driver-only memory system in the Grecale, the F-Pace (except Base) offers an optional driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position and outside mirror angle and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.

The F-Pace (except Base) offers optional massaging front seats in order to maximize comfort and eliminate fatigue on long trips. Massaging seats aren’t available in the Grecale.

To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Jaguar F-Pace has a standard wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the center console. Wireless charging costs extra on the Grecale.

The F-Pace SVR’s optional Park Assist can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, with the driver only controlling speed with the brake pedal. The Grecale doesn’t offer an automated parking system.

The Jaguar F-Pace outsold the Maserati Grecale by over 11 to one during 2022.
