Infiniti’s powertrain warranty covers the QX55 2 years and 20,000 miles longer than Land Rover covers the Range Rover Evoque. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 6 years or 70,000 miles. Coverage on the Range Rover Evoque ends after only 4 years or 50,000 miles.

The QX55’s corrosion warranty is 1 year longer than the Range Rover Evoque’s (7 vs. 6 years).

Infiniti pays for scheduled maintenance on the QX55 for 3 years and 36,000 miles. Infiniti will pay for oil changes, lubrication and any other required maintenance. Land Rover doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the Range Rover Evoque.

A reliable vehicle saves its owner time, money and trouble. Nobody wants to be stranded or have to be without a vehicle while it’s being repaired. Consumer Reports rates the QX55’s reliability 20 points higher than the Range Rover Evoque.

Power and Associates’ 2022 survey of the owners of three-year-old vehicles provides the long-term dependability statistics that show that Infiniti vehicles are more reliable than Land Rover With 56 fewer problems per 100 vehicles in the first three years of ownership, J.D. Power ranks Infiniti higher than Land Rover.

The QX55’s 2.0 turbo 4-cylinder produces 22 more horsepower (268 vs. 246) and 11 lbs.-ft. more torque (280 vs. 269) than the Range Rover Evoque’s standard 2.0 turbo 4-cylinder.

The QX55 has a standard locking fuel door with a remote release located convenient to the driver. The fuel filler door is not lockable on the Range Rover Evoque. A locking fuel door helps prevent fuel theft and vandalism, such as sugar in the tank.

The QX55 has a standard continuously variable transmission (CVT). With no “steps” between gears, it can keep the engine at the most efficient speed for fuel economy, or keep it at its peak horsepower indefinitely for maximum acceleration. The Range Rover Evoque doesn’t offer a CVT.

The QX55’s standard front and rear disc brakes are vented to help dissipate heat for shorter stops with less fading. The rear discs on the Range Rover Evoque are solid, not vented.

If the windows are left open on the QX55 the driver can close them all at the outside door handle. On a hot day the driver can lower the windows from a distance using the keyless remote. The driver of the Range Rover Evoque can only close the windows from inside the vehicle, with the ignition on.

The QX55’s power window, power lock, power mirror and cruise control switches are lit from behind, making them plainly visible and easier to operate at night. The Range Rover Evoque’s power mirror switches are unlit, making them difficult to find at night and operate safely.

To help drivers see further while navigating curves, the QX55 Essential/Sensory has standard adaptive headlights to illuminate around corners automatically by reading vehicle speed and steering wheel angle. The Range Rover Evoque doesn’t offer cornering lights.

To shield the driver and front passenger’s vision over a larger portion of the windshield and side windows, the QX55 has standard extendable sun visors. The Range Rover Evoque doesn’t offer extendable visors.
