The Cullinan’s pre-crash front seatbelts will tighten automatically in the event the vehicle detects an impending crash, improving protection against injury significantly. The F-Pace doesn’t offer pre-crash pretensioners.

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags helps prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The F-Pace doesn’t offer knee airbags.

The Cullinan has a standard PostCrash iBrake, which automatically applies the brakes in the event of a crash to help prevent secondary collisions and prevent further injuries. The F-Pace doesn’t offer a post collision braking system: in the event of a collision that triggers the airbags, more collisions are possible without the protection of airbags that may have already deployed.

Over 200 people are killed each year when backed over by motor vehicles. The Cullinan has standard Active Park Distance Control that uses rear sensors to monitor and automatically apply the brakes to prevent a rear collision. The F-Pace doesn’t offer backup collision prevention brakes.

A passive infrared night vision system optional on the Cullinan helps the driver to more easily detect people, animals or other objects in front of the vehicle at night. Using an infrared camera to detect heat, the system then displays the image on a monitor in the dashboard. The F-Pace doesn’t offer a night vision system.

Both the Cullinan and the F-Pace have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras, rear cross-path warning and driver alert monitors.

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan weighs 1674 to 2054 pounds more than the Jaguar F-Pace. The NHTSA advises that heavier vehicles are much safer in collisions than their significantly lighter counterparts.

The Cullinan comes with a full 4-year/unlimited-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire truck and includes 24-hour roadside assistance. The F-Pace’s 60,000-mile basic warranty expires sooner.

The Cullinan has more powerful engines than the F-Pace:

The Cullinan has 8.5 gallons more fuel capacity than the F-Pace (30.4 vs. 21.9 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

The Cullinan’s standard tires provide better handling because they have a lower 50 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the F-Pace’s standard 55 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Cullinan has standard 21-inch wheels. Smaller 19-inch wheels are standard on the F-Pace.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires standard on the Cullinan can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The F-Pace doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

The Cullinan has active sway bars, which help keep it flat and controlled during cornering, but disconnect at lower speeds to smooth the ride and offer greater off-road suspension articulation. This helps keep the tires glued to the road on-road and off. The F-Pace doesn’t offer an active sway bar system.

The front and rear suspension of the Cullinan uses air springs for a smoother, controlled ride than the F-Pace, which uses coil springs. Air springs maintain proper ride height and ride more smoothly.

The Cullinan offers an available adjustable active suspension system, which counteracts cornering forces actively, limiting body roll and improving handling and stability. Jaguar doesn’t offer an active suspension on the F-Pace.

The Cullinan has a standard automatic front and rear load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The Cullinan’s height leveling suspension allows the driver to raise ride height for better off-road clearance and then lower it again for easier entering and exiting and better on-road handling. The F-Pace doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Cullinan’s wheelbase is 16.6 inches longer than on the F-Pace (129.7 inches vs. 113.1 inches).

The Cullinan has 16 cubic feet more passenger volume than the F-Pace (112 vs. 96).

Flexibility is maximized at the game, campground or a drive-in theatre in the Cullinan when its optional tailgating rear seats are deployed, allowing people to sit facing out of the tailgate. (Do not use while vehicle is in motion.) The F-Pace doesn’t offer tailgating seats.

The Cullinan has a much larger cargo volume than the F-Pace with its rear seat up (43.4 vs. 31.5 cubic feet).

The Cullinan’s rear cargo window opens separately from the rest of the tailgate door to allow quicker loading of small packages. The F-Pace’s rear cargo window doesn’t open.

Unlike the driver-only memory system optional at extra cost in the F-Pace (except Base), the Cullinan has standard driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position, outside mirror angle, climate settings and radio stations and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.

The Cullinan’s standard easy entry system raises the steering wheel, making it easier for the driver to get in and out. An easy entry system costs extra on the F-Pace, and is not available on all models.

The Cullinan has a standard locking fuel door with a remote release located convenient to the driver. A locking fuel door helps prevent fuel theft and vandalism, such as sugar in the tank. The F-Pace doesn’t offer a locking fuel door.

To help drivers avoid possible obstacles, the Cullinan has standard cornering lights to illuminate around corners when the turn signals are activated. The F-Pace doesn’t offer cornering lights. The Cullinan also has standard adaptive headlights to illuminate around corners automatically by reading vehicle speed and steering wheel angle.

Manual rear side window sunshades are available in the Cullinan to help block heat and glare for the rear passengers. The F-Pace doesn’t offer rear side window sunshades.

Optional air conditioned front and rear seats keep the Cullinan’s passengers comfortable and take the sting out of hot leather in summer. The F-Pace doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats in the rear.

The Cullinan has a standard heated steering wheel to take the chill out of steering on extremely cold winter days before the vehicle heater warms up. A heated steering wheel costs extra on the F-Pace.

The Cullinan has standard massaging front seats. Massaging front seats cost extra on the F-Pace, and are only available on the F-Pace R-Dynamic. The Cullinan also offers optional massaging rear seats in order to maximize comfort and eliminate fatigue on long trips. Massaging rear seats aren’t available in the F-Pace.

The Cullinan’s Parking Assistant Plus can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, starting, stopping and changing direction automatically. The F-Pace S/R-Dynamic/SVR’s automatic parking system requires operating the brakes and transmission to safely park.
