Tires and Wheels
For better traction, the EQE Sedan’s optional tires are larger than the largest tires available on the C40 Recharge (F:255/35R21 & R:285/30R21 vs. 235/45R20).
The EQE Sedan’s optional 255/35R21 front and 285/30R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the C40 Recharge’s optional 45 series tires.
For better ride, handling and brake cooling the EQE Sedan offers optional 21-inch wheels. The C40 Recharge’s largest wheels are only 20-inches.
Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires available on the EQE Sedan can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The C40 Recharge doesn’t offer run-flat tires.
Suspension and Handling
The EQE Sedan has standard front and rear gas-charged shocks for better control over choppy roads. The C40 Recharge’s suspension doesn’t offer gas-charged shocks.
The EQE Sedan offers an available driver-adjustable suspension system.
