The Transit Connect Wagon XLT/Titanium’s optional lane departure warning system alerts a temporarily inattentive driver when the vehicle begins to leave its lane and gently nudges the vehicle back towards its lane. The Voyager doesn’t offer a lane departure warning system.

The Transit Connect Wagon has standard Reverse Sensing System to help warn the driver about vehicles, pedestrians or other obstacles behind or, optionally, in front of the vehicle. The Voyager doesn’t offer a front parking aid.

To reliably power the ignition and other systems and to recharge the battery, the Transit Connect Wagon has a standard 220-amp alternator. The Voyager’s 180-amp alternator isn’t as powerful.

To reliably start during all conditions and help handle large electrical loads, the Transit Connect Wagon has a standard 800-amp battery. The Voyager’s 730-amp battery isn’t as powerful.

On the EPA test cycle the Transit Connect Wagon gets better fuel mileage than the Voyager (24 city/28 hwy vs. 19 city/28 hwy).

The Transit Connect Wagon has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. For more complete vehicle control the Transit Connect Wagon has a manually controlled automatic, with the available convenience of an automatic transmission and the complete gear control of a manual transmission without the inconvenience of a clutch. A manually controlled automatic allows the driver to eliminate unwanted shifts and maximize engine braking by down shifting while cornering. The Transit Connect Wagon XLT/Titanium’s front and rear power windows all open or close fully with one touch of the switches, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths, or when talking with someone outside the car. The Voyager’s rear power window switches have to be held the entire time to open them fully. Only its driver’s window opens automatically.

Passive Entry/Passive Start optional on the Transit Connect Wagon (except XL) allows you to unlock the driver’s door, cargo door and start the engine all without removing a key from pocket or purse. This eliminates searching for keys before loading groceries, getting in the vehicle in bad weather or making a hurried start to your trip. The Chrysler Voyager’s Keyless-Enter-N-Go doesn’t unlock the cargo door.

The Transit Connect Wagon’s rain-sensitive wipers adjust their speed and turn on and off automatically based on the amount of rainfall on the windshield. This allows the driver to concentrate on driving without constantly adjusting the wipers. The Voyager’s manually variable intermittent wipers have to be constantly adjusted.

Heated windshield washer nozzles are optional on the Transit Connect Wagon to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The Voyager doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.

The Transit Connect Wagon’s optional high intensity discharge (HID) headlights provide a whiter, brighter light (up to 3x) using less power than the Voyager’s halogen headlights. HID units last two to six times longer than halogen.

While driving with high beams on, sensitive light sensors available for the Transit Connect Wagon detect other vehicles which could be blinded and automatically switch to low beams. The Voyager doesn’t offer automatic dimming high beams.

To help drivers avoid possible obstacles, the Transit Connect Wagon offers optional cornering lights to illuminate around corners when the turn signals are activated. The Voyager doesn’t offer cornering lights.

The Transit Connect Wagon’s optional rear view mirror has an automatic dimming feature. The Transit Connect Wagon’s standard automatic temperature control maintains the temperature you set, automatically controlling fan speed, vents and temperature to maintain a consistent, comfortable environment. The Voyager doesn’t offer automatic air conditioning.

To keep a safe, consistent following distance, the Transit Connect Wagon XLT/Titanium offers an optional Adaptive Cruise Control, which alters the speed of the vehicle without driver intervention. This allows the driver to use cruise control more safely without constantly having to disengage it when approaching slower traffic. The Voyager doesn’t offer an adaptive cruise control.

To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Ford Transit Connect offers an optional wireless phone charging system (Qi) on the dashboard. The Voyager doesn’t offer wireless personal charging.

The Transit Connect Wagon has a 115-volt a/c outlet on the center console, allowing you to recharge a laptop or run small household appliances without special adapters that can break or get misplaced. The Voyager doesn’t offer a house-current electrical outlet.

The Transit Connect Wagon Titanium’s optional Enhanced Active Park Assist can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, with the driver only controlling speed with the brake pedal. The Voyager doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
