Safety
Warranty
Ferrari pays for scheduled maintenance on the Portofino for 7 years and unlimited miles. Ferrari will pay for oil changes, lubrication and any other required maintenance. Bentley doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the Continental GT.
Engine
The Portofino’s 3.9 turbo V8 produces 70 more horsepower (612 vs. 542) than the Continental GT’s standard 4.0 turbo V8.
Fuel Economy and Range
On the EPA test cycle the Portofino gets better mileage than the Continental GT GTC:

The Portofino has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The Continental GT doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.
Environmental Friendliness
In its Green Vehicle Guide, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rates the Ferrari Portofino higher (6 out of 10) than the Bentley Continental GT (3). This means the Portofino produces up to 23.4 pounds less smog-producing pollutants than the Continental GT every 15,000 miles.
Tires and Wheels
The Portofino’s tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Continental GT’s standard 40 series front tires.
Chassis
The Ferrari Portofino may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 1100 to 1650 pounds less than the Bentley Continental GT.
The Portofino is 10 inches shorter than the Continental GT, making the Portofino easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.
The Portofino’s standard power retractable hardtop allows a seamless transition from an open car, to a completely sealed coupe. The Continental GT doesn’t offer a retractable hardtop.
Cargo Capacity
The Portofino’s standard rear seats fold to accommodate long and bulky cargo. The Continental GT doesn’t offer folding rear seats, only a ski pass-through.
Ergonomics
The Portofino’s power window, power lock, power mirror and cruise control switches are lit from behind, making them plainly visible and easier to operate at night. The Continental GT’s cruise control switches are unlit, making them difficult to find at night and operate safely.
To help drivers see further while navigating curves, the Portofino offers optional adaptive headlights to illuminate around corners automatically by reading vehicle speed and steering wheel angle. The Continental GT doesn’t offer cornering lights.
