The Roma has standard parking sensors to help warn the driver about vehicles, pedestrians or other obstacles behind or in front of their vehicle. The Corvette doesn’t offer a front parking aid.
Both the Roma and the Corvette have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding and rear parking sensors.
The Roma comes with a full 3-year/unlimited-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire car and includes free 24-hour roadside assistance. The Corvette’s 3-year/36,000-mile basic warranty expires sooner.
The Roma’s corrosion warranty is unlimited miles longer than the Corvette’s (unlimited vs. 100,000 miles).
Ferrari pays for scheduled maintenance on the Roma for 7 years and unlimited miles. Ferrari will pay for oil changes, lubrication and any other required maintenance. Chevrolet only pays for the first scheduled maintenance visit on the Corvette.
For smoother operation, better efficiency and fewer moving parts, the Roma has an overhead cam design, rather than the old pushrod design of some of the engines in the Corvette.
The Roma’s 3.9 turbo V8 produces 122 more horsepower (612 vs. 490) and 96 lbs.-ft. more torque (561 vs. 465) than the Corvette’s standard 6.2 V8. The Roma’s 3.9 turbo V8 produces 117 more horsepower (612 vs. 495) and 91 lbs.-ft. more torque (561 vs. 470) than the Corvette Z51’s standard 6.2 V8. The Roma’s 3.9 turbo V8 produces 101 lbs.-ft. more torque (561 vs. 460) than the Corvette Z06’s standard 5.5 DOHC V8.

In heavy traffic or at stoplights the Roma’s engine automatically turns off when the vehicle is stopped, saving fuel and reducing pollution. The engine is automatically restarted when the driver gets ready to move again. If the conditions warrant or the driver wishes, the system can be manually disabled at any time for the duration of a trip. The Corvette doesn’t offer an automatic engine start/stop system.
The Roma has 2.6 gallons more fuel capacity than the Corvette (21.1 vs. 18.5 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Roma has standard 20-inch wheels. Smaller 19-inch front wheels are standard on the Corvette.
For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Roma is 1.8 inches wider in the rear than the average track on the Corvette.
For better maneuverability, the Roma’s turning circle is 1 foot tighter than the Corvette with Magnetic Ride Control’s (35.4 feet vs. 36.4 feet). The Roma’s turning circle is 2.7 feet tighter than the Corvette’s (35.4 feet vs. 38.1 feet).
The Roma has standard seating for 4 passengers; the Corvette can only carry 2.
The Roma has 29 cubic feet more passenger volume than the Corvette (80 vs. 51).
The Roma’s standard easy entry system raises the steering wheel, making it easier for the driver to get in and out. An easy entry system costs extra on the Corvette.
If the windows are left open on the Roma the driver can close them all from a distance using the remote. On a hot day the driver can also lower the windows the same way. The driver of the Corvette can only close the windows from inside the vehicle, with the ignition on.
The Roma’s rain-sensitive wipers adjust their speed and turn on and off automatically based on the amount of rainfall on the windshield. This allows the driver to concentrate on driving without constantly adjusting the wipers. The Corvette’s manually variable intermittent wipers have to be constantly adjusted.
While driving with high beams on, sensitive light sensors available for the Roma detect other vehicles which could be blinded and automatically switch to low beams. The Corvette doesn’t offer automatic dimming high beams.
