Both the SF90 and the NSX have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights and rearview cameras.

Safety
Warranty
The SF90 comes with a full 3-year/unlimited-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire car and includes free 24-hour roadside assistance. The NSX’s 50,000-mile basic warranty expires sooner.
Ferrari pays for scheduled maintenance on the SF90 for 7 years and unlimited miles. Ferrari will pay for oil changes, lubrication and any other required maintenance. Acura doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the NSX.
Engine
The SF90’s 4.0 turbo V8 hybrid produces 386 more horsepower (986 vs. 600) and 98 lbs.-ft. more torque (590 vs. 492) than the NSX’s 3.5 turbo V6 hybrid.
Fuel Economy and Range
On the EPA test cycle the SF90 Coupe running on electricity gets better mileage than the NSX Type S (51 city/51 hwy MPGe vs. 21 city/22 hwy).
The SF90 Coupe can travel with zero emissions for 9 miles. The NSX can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.
Both the SF90 and NSX have a standard automatic start/stop engine feature to stop unnecessary fuel waste and pollution at stoplights and heavy traffic. The SF90 has a standard disable switch for the system, so a driver can keep the engine from shutting off when the vehicle stops temporarily.
The SF90 has 2.4 gallons more fuel capacity than the NSX (18 vs. 15.6 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.
Brakes and Stopping
For better stopping power the SF90’s brake rotors are larger than those on the NSX:

Tires and Wheels
For better traction, the SF90 has larger tires than the NSX (F:255/35R20 & R:315/30R20 vs. F:245/35R19 & R:305/30R20).
For better ride, handling and brake cooling the SF90 has standard 20-inch wheels. Only 19-inch front wheels are available on the NSX.
Suspension and Handling
The SF90’s front to rear weight distribution is more even (45% to 55%) than the NSX’s (42% to 58%). This gives the SF90 more stable handling and braking.
The SF90 Assetto Fiorano Coupe handles at 1.07 G’s, while the NSX pulls only 1.00 G’s of cornering force in a Motor Trend skidpad test.
Chassis
The Ferrari SF90 may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 450 to 500 pounds less than the Acura NSX.
The SF90’s standard power retractable hardtop allows a seamless transition from an open car, to a completely sealed coupe. The NSX doesn’t offer a retractable hardtop.
Ergonomics
When three different drivers share the SF90, the memory seats make it convenient for all three. Each setting activates different, customized memories for the driver’s seat position. The NSX doesn’t offer memory seats.
The SF90’s standard easy entry system raises the steering wheel, making it easier for the driver to get in and out. The NSX doesn’t offer an easy entry system.
The SF90’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The NSX does not have an oil pressure gauge.
The SF90 has a standard heads-up display that projects speed in front of the driver’s line of sight, allowing drivers to view information without diverting their eyes from the road. The NSX doesn’t offer a heads-up display.
The SF90’s power window, power lock, power mirror and cruise control switches are lit from behind, making them plainly visible and easier to operate at night. The NSX’s power window switches are unlit, making them difficult to find at night and operate safely.
To help drivers see further while navigating curves, the SF90 has standard adaptive headlights to illuminate around corners automatically by reading vehicle speed and steering wheel angle. The NSX doesn’t offer cornering lights.
To keep a safe, consistent following distance, the SF90 has a standard Adaptive Cruise Control, which alters the speed of the vehicle without driver intervention. This allows the driver to use cruise control more safely without constantly having to disengage it when approaching slower traffic. The NSX doesn’t offer an adaptive cruise control.
Model Availability
The Ferrari SF90 comes in coupe and convertible bodystyles; the Acura NSX isn’t available as a convertible.
