The SF90 has all-wheel drive to maximize traction under poor conditions, especially in ice and snow. The Vantage doesn’t offer all-wheel drive.
Both the SF90 and the Vantage have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights and rear parking sensors.
Ferrari pays for scheduled maintenance on the SF90 for 7 years and unlimited miles. Ferrari will pay for oil changes, lubrication and any other required maintenance. Aston Martin doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the Vantage.
The SF90’s 4.0 turbo V8 hybrid produces 483 more horsepower (986 vs. 503) and 85 lbs.-ft. more torque (590 vs. 505) than the Vantage’s standard 4.0 turbo V8. The SF90’s 4.0 turbo V8 hybrid produces 459 more horsepower (986 vs. 527) and 85 lbs.-ft. more torque (590 vs. 505) than the Vantage F1’s standard 4.0 turbo V8. The SF90’s 4.0 turbo V8 hybrid produces 296 more horsepower (986 vs. 690) and 48 lbs.-ft. more torque (590 vs. 542) than the Vantage’s optional 5.2 turbo V12.

The SF90 Coupe can travel with zero emissions for 9 miles. The Vantage can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.
The SF90 Spider can travel with zero emissions for 8 miles. The Vantage can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.
Regenerative brakes improve the SF90’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The Vantage doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.
The SF90 offers a standard sequential manual gearbox (SMG). With no clutch pedal to worry about and a fully automatic mode, an SMG is much more efficient than a conventional automatic but just as easy to drive. The Vantage doesn’t offer an SMG or a conventional manual transmission.
All wheel drive, available in the SF90, provides the best traction for acceleration in wet, dry, and icy conditions. In corners, all wheel drive allows both outside wheels to provide power, balancing the car. This allows for better handling. The Aston Martin Vantage is not available with all wheel drive.
The SF90’s launch control uses engine electronics to hold engine RPM’s precisely in order to provide the most stable and rapid acceleration possible, using all of the available traction. The Vantage doesn’t offer launch control.

For better traction and acceleration, the SF90 has larger rear tires than the Vantage (315/30R20 vs. 295/35R20).
The SF90’s 255/35R20 front and 315/30R20 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Vantage’s standard 40 series front and 35 series rear tires.
The SF90’s standard power retractable hardtop allows a seamless transition from an open car, to a completely sealed coupe. The Vantage doesn’t offer a retractable hardtop.
A standard locking glovebox keeps your small valuables safer in the SF90. The Vantage doesn’t offer locking storage for small valuables.
The SF90’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The Vantage does not have an oil pressure gauge.
The SF90 has a standard heads-up display that projects speed in front of the driver’s line of sight, allowing drivers to view information without diverting their eyes from the road. The Vantage doesn’t offer a heads-up display.
The SF90’s driver’s power window opens or closes with one touch of the window control, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths. The Vantage’s power windows’ switch has to be held the entire time to close it fully.
While driving with high beams on, sensitive light sensors standard on the SF90 detect other vehicles which could be blinded and automatically switch to low beams. The Vantage doesn’t offer automatic dimming high beams.
To help drivers see further while navigating curves, the SF90 has standard adaptive headlights to illuminate around corners automatically by reading vehicle speed and steering wheel angle. The Vantage doesn’t offer cornering lights.
To keep a safe, consistent following distance, the SF90 has a standard Adaptive Cruise Control, which alters the speed of the vehicle without driver intervention. This allows the driver to use cruise control more safely without constantly having to disengage it when approaching slower traffic. The Vantage doesn’t offer an adaptive cruise control.
