The SF90 has all-wheel drive to maximize traction under poor conditions, especially in ice and snow. The DB11 doesn’t offer all-wheel drive.
Both the SF90 and the DB11 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights and rearview cameras.
Ferrari pays for scheduled maintenance on the SF90 for 7 years and unlimited miles. Ferrari will pay for oil changes, lubrication and any other required maintenance. Aston Martin doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the DB11.
The SF90’s 4.0 turbo V8 hybrid produces 458 more horsepower (986 vs. 528) and 77 lbs.-ft. more torque (590 vs. 513) than the DB11 V8’s standard 4.0 turbo V8. The SF90’s 4.0 turbo V8 hybrid produces 356 more horsepower (986 vs. 630) and 74 lbs.-ft. more torque (590 vs. 516) than the DB11 V12’s standard 5.2 turbo V12.

The SF90 Coupe can travel with zero emissions for 9 miles. The DB11 can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.

Regenerative brakes improve the SF90’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The DB11 doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.
The SF90 offers a standard sequential manual gearbox (SMG). With no clutch pedal to worry about and a fully automatic mode, an SMG is much more efficient than a conventional automatic but just as easy to drive. The DB11 doesn’t offer an SMG or a conventional manual transmission.
All wheel drive, available in the SF90, provides the best traction for acceleration in wet, dry, and icy conditions. In corners, all wheel drive allows both outside wheels to provide power, balancing the car. This allows for better handling. The Aston Martin DB11 is not available with all wheel drive.
The SF90 has standard heat-treated ceramic brake rotors, which last ten to twenty times as long as conventional cast iron rotors, don’t rust, don’t fade during repeated high speed braking, and their lighter weight contribute to better braking, handling and acceleration. The DB11 doesn’t offer ceramic brake rotors.

For better traction and acceleration, the SF90 has larger rear tires than the DB11 (315/30R20 vs. 295/35R20).
The SF90’s 255/35R20 front and 315/30R20 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the DB11’s standard 40 series front and 35 series rear tires.
The SF90 Assetto Fiorano Coupe handles at 1.07 G’s, while the DB11 pulls only .98 G’s of cornering force in a Motor Trend skidpad test.
The Ferrari SF90 may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 450 to 650 pounds less than the Aston Martin DB11.
The SF90’s standard power retractable hardtop allows a seamless transition from an open car, to a completely sealed coupe. The DB11 doesn’t offer a retractable hardtop.
A standard locking glovebox keeps your small valuables safer in the SF90. The DB11 doesn’t offer locking storage for small valuables.
The SF90’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The DB11 does not have an oil pressure gauge.
The SF90 has a standard heads-up display that projects speed in front of the driver’s line of sight, allowing drivers to view information without diverting their eyes from the road. The DB11 doesn’t offer a heads-up display.
The SF90’s power window, power lock, power mirror and cruise control switches are lit from behind, making them plainly visible and easier to operate at night. The DB11’s cruise control switches are unlit, making them difficult to find at night and operate safely.
While driving with high beams on, sensitive light sensors standard on the SF90 detect other vehicles which could be blinded and automatically switch to low beams. The DB11 doesn’t offer automatic dimming high beams.
To keep a safe, consistent following distance, the SF90 has a standard Adaptive Cruise Control, which alters the speed of the vehicle without driver intervention. This allows the driver to use cruise control more safely without constantly having to disengage it when approaching slower traffic. The DB11 doesn’t offer an adaptive cruise control.
