Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires standard on the GT-R can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The Aventador doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the GT-R’s wheelbase is 3.1 inches longer than on the Aventador (109.4 inches vs. 106.3 inches).

The GT-R’s front to rear weight distribution is more even (54.7% to 45.3%) than the Aventador’s (43% to 57%). This gives the GT-R more stable handling and braking.

The design of the Nissan GT-R amounts to more than styling. The GT-R has an aerodynamic coefficient of drag of .26 Cd. That is significantly lower than the Aventador (.33). A more efficient exterior helps the GT-R go faster and keeps the interior quieter. It also helps the GT-R get better fuel mileage.

The GT-R uses computer-generated active noise cancellation to help remove annoying noise and vibration from the passenger compartment, especially at low frequencies. The Aventador doesn’t offer active noise cancellation.

The GT-R has standard seating for 4 passengers; the Aventador can only carry 2.

The GT-R’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Aventador’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.

The GT-R’s LED headlights produce a white, bright light using less electricity than the Aventador’s xenon high intensity discharge (HID) headlights. HID headlights can be slow to reach full brightness or power cycle, causing issues when flashing them to signal other vehicles; LED headlights light instantly. LED lights also last about three to four times as long.

The GT-R’s sun-visors swivel front-to-side to block glare from the side windows. The Aventador’s visors are fixed into the windshield header.

The GT-R’s standard dual zone air conditioning allows the driver and front passenger to choose two completely different temperatures so people with different temperature preferences won’t have to compromise. This makes both the driver and front passenger as comfortable as possible. The Aventador doesn’t offer dual zone air conditioning.
