Compare the2023 Nissan GT-R VS 2022 Ferrari SF90

The GT-R has standard Front and Rear Sonar System to help warn the driver about vehicles, pedestrians or other obstacles behind or in front of their vehicle. The SF90 doesn’t offer a front parking aid.

The GT-R has standard NissanConnect Services, which uses a global positioning satellite (GPS) receiver and a cellular system to send emergency personnel to the scene if any airbags deploy. The SF90 doesn’t offer a GPS response system, only a navigation computer with no live response for emergencies, so if you’re involved in an accident and you’re incapacitated help may not come as quickly.

Both the GT-R and the SF90 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights and rearview cameras.

The Nissan GT-R weighs 406 to 474 pounds more than the Ferrari SF90. The NHTSA advises that heavier cars are much safer in collisions than their significantly lighter counterparts.

Nissan’s powertrain warranty covers the GT-R 2 years longer than Ferrari covers the SF90. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Coverage on the SF90 ends after only 3 years.

The GT-R’s corrosion warranty is 2 years longer than the SF90’s (5 vs. 3 years).

There are over 23 times as many Nissan dealers as there are Ferrari dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the GT-R’s warranty.

On the EPA test cycle the GT-R gets better fuel mileage than the SF90 running its gasoline engine (16 city/22 hwy vs. 16 city/20 hwy).

The GT-R has 1.5 gallons more fuel capacity than the SF90 (19.5 vs. 18 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

For better stopping power the GT-R NISMO’s brake rotors are larger than those on the SF90:

The GT-R NISMO has standard heat-treated ceramic brake rotors, which last ten to twenty times as long as conventional cast iron rotors, don’t rust, don’t fade during repeated high speed braking, and their lighter weight contribute to better braking, handling and acceleration. The SF90 doesn’t offer ceramic brake rotors.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires standard on the GT-R can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The SF90 doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the GT-R’s wheelbase is 5.1 inches longer than on the SF90 (109.4 inches vs. 104.3 inches).

The GT-R uses computer-generated active noise cancellation to help remove annoying noise and vibration from the passenger compartment, especially at low frequencies. The SF90 doesn’t offer active noise cancellation.

The GT-R has standard seating for 4 passengers; the SF90 can only carry 2.

The GT-R has a much larger trunk than the SF90 Coupe (8.8 vs. 2.6 cubic feet).

The GT-R’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The SF90’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.

The GT-R’s standard dual zone air conditioning allows the driver and front passenger to choose two completely different temperatures so people with different temperature preferences won’t have to compromise. This makes both the driver and front passenger as comfortable as possible. The SF90 doesn’t offer dual zone air conditioning.
