Compare the2023 Lamborghini Huracán VS 2022 Ferrari Roma

The Lamborghini Huracán has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags helps prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The Roma doesn’t offer knee airbags.

The Huracán has standard tall side airbags which act as a forgiving barrier between the driver and outboard passenger's upper bodies and the window and pillars. Combined with high-strength steel door beams and lower side airbags this system increases head protection in broadside collisions. The Roma doesn't offer side airbag protection for the head.

The Huracán offers all-wheel drive to maximize traction under poor conditions, especially in ice and snow. The Roma doesn’t offer all-wheel drive.

Both the Huracán and the Roma have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding and available rear parking sensors.

The Huracán Evo’s optional 5.2 DOHC V10 produces 18 more horsepower (630 vs. 612) than the Roma’s 3.9 turbo V8. The Huracán STO’s standard 5.2 DOHC V10 produces 19 more horsepower (631 vs. 612) than the Roma’s 3.9 turbo V8.

An engine control system that can shut down some of the engine’s cylinders helps improve the Huracán’s fuel efficiency. The Roma doesn’t offer a system that can shut down part of the engine.

The Huracán has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The Roma doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

All wheel drive, available in the Huracán, provides the best traction for acceleration in wet, dry, and icy conditions. In corners, all wheel drive allows both outside wheels to provide power, balancing the car. This allows for better handling. The Ferrari Roma is not available with all wheel drive.

The Huracán Technica/STO’s tires provide better handling because they have a lower 30 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Roma’s 35 series tires.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires available on the Huracán can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The Roma doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

For better handling and stability, the average track (width between the wheels) on the Huracán is 1.1 inches wider in the front than the track on the Roma.

The Lamborghini Huracán may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 50 to 500 pounds less than the Ferrari Roma.

The Huracán Technica Coupe is 5.4 inches shorter than the Roma, making the Huracán easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

For excellent aerodynamics, the Huracán has standard flush composite headlights. The Roma has recessed headlights that spoil its aerodynamic shape and create extra drag.

The Huracán’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Roma’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.

In poor weather, headlights can lose their effectiveness as grime builds up on their lenses. This can reduce visibility without the driver realizing. The Huracán has standard headlight washers to keep headlight output high. The Roma doesn’t offer headlight washers.

The Lamborghini Huracán comes in coupe and convertible bodystyles; the Ferrari Roma isn’t available as a convertible.
