The Lamborghini Huracán has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags helps prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The NSX doesn’t offer a front passenger side knee airbag.

Both the Huracán and the NSX have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights, rearview cameras and available rear parking sensors.

The Huracán Evo’s optional 5.2 DOHC V10 produces 30 more horsepower (630 vs. 600) than the NSX’s 3.5 turbo V6 hybrid. The Huracán STO’s standard 5.2 DOHC V10 produces 31 more horsepower (631 vs. 600) than the NSX’s 3.5 turbo V6 hybrid.

As tested in Car and Driver the Huracán Evo is faster than the Acura NSX:

An engine control system that can shut down some of the engine’s cylinders helps improve the Huracán’s fuel efficiency. The NSX doesn’t offer a system that can shut down part of the engine.

The Huracán has 5.5 gallons more fuel capacity than the NSX (21.1 vs. 15.6 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

For better stopping power the Huracán’s front brake rotors are larger than those on the NSX:

The Huracán Technica/STO’s tires provide better handling because they have a lower 30 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the NSX’s 35 series front tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Huracán Technica/STO has standard 20-inch wheels. The NSX’s largest wheels are only 19-inches in the front and 20-inches in the rear.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires available on the Huracán can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The NSX doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

The Huracán Coupe AWD handles at 1.14 G’s, while the NSX Type S pulls only .99 G’s of cornering force in a Car and Driver skidpad test.

The Huracán Evo Coupe executes Motor Trend’s “Figure Eight” maneuver 1.6 seconds quicker than the NSX (22.2 seconds @ 1 average G’s vs. 23.8 seconds @ .87 average G’s).

For better maneuverability, the Huracán’s turning circle is 2 feet tighter than the NSX’s (37.7 feet vs. 39.7 feet).

The Lamborghini Huracán may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 550 to 950 pounds less than the Acura NSX.

The Huracán’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The NSX does not have an oil pressure gauge.

The Huracán’s power window, power lock and power mirror switches are lit from behind, making them plainly visible and easier to operate at night. The NSX’s power window switches are unlit, making them difficult to find at night and operate safely.

In poor weather, headlights can lose their effectiveness as grime builds up on their lenses. This can reduce visibility without the driver realizing. The Huracán has standard headlight washers to keep headlight output high. The NSX doesn’t offer headlight washers.

The Lamborghini Huracán comes in coupe and convertible bodystyles; the Acura NSX isn’t available as a convertible.

The Huracán is available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. The NSX doesn’t offer a two-wheel drive configuration.
