The Huracán offers all-wheel drive to maximize traction under poor conditions, especially in ice and snow. The DB11 doesn’t offer all-wheel drive.

Both the Huracán and the DB11 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights, rearview cameras and available rear parking sensors.

The Huracán has more powerful engines than the DB11:

The Huracán has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The DB11 doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

The Huracán offers a standard sequential manual gearbox (SMG). With no clutch pedal to worry about and a fully automatic mode, an SMG is much more efficient than a conventional automatic but just as easy to drive. The DB11 doesn’t offer an SMG or a conventional manual transmission.

All wheel drive, available in the Huracán, provides the best traction for acceleration in wet, dry, and icy conditions. In corners, all wheel drive allows both outside wheels to provide power, balancing the car. This allows for better handling. The Aston Martin DB11 is not available with all wheel drive.

The Huracán AWD has standard heat-treated ceramic brake rotors, which last ten to twenty times as long as conventional cast iron rotors, don’t rust, don’t fade during repeated high speed braking, and their lighter weight contribute to better braking, handling and acceleration. The DB11 doesn’t offer ceramic brake rotors.

The Huracán stops much shorter than the DB11:

The Huracán Technica/STO’s tires provide better handling because they have a lower 30 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the DB11’s 40 series front and 35 series rear tires.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires available on the Huracán can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The DB11 doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

The Huracán Coupe AWD handles at 1.14 G’s, while the DB11 pulls only .94 G’s of cornering force in a Car and Driver skidpad test.

The Huracán Evo Coupe executes Motor Trend’s “Figure Eight” maneuver 1.7 seconds quicker than the DB11 (22.2 seconds @ 1 average G’s vs. 23.9 seconds @ .84 average G’s).

For better maneuverability, the Huracán’s turning circle is .7 feet tighter than the DB11’s (37.7 feet vs. 38.4 feet).

The Lamborghini Huracán may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 700 to 950 pounds less than the Aston Martin DB11.

The Huracán Technica Coupe is 9.1 inches shorter than the DB11, making the Huracán easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

A standard locking glovebox keeps your small valuables safer in the Huracán. The DB11 doesn’t offer locking storage for small valuables.

The Huracán’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The DB11 does not have an oil pressure gauge.

In poor weather, headlights can lose their effectiveness as grime builds up on their lenses. This can reduce visibility without the driver realizing. The Huracán has standard headlight washers to keep headlight output high. The DB11 doesn’t offer headlight washers.

The Huracán was chosen as one of Automobile Magazine’s “All Stars” in 2015. The DB11 has never been an “All Star.”
