The Lamborghini Urus has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags helps prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The Bentayga doesn’t offer knee airbags.

Both the Urus and the Bentayga have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, rearview cameras, available night vision systems, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, around view monitors and rear cross-path warning.

The Urus’ 4.0 turbo V8 produces 99 more horsepower (641 vs. 542) and 59 lbs.-ft. more torque (627 vs. 568) than the Bentayga’s standard 4.0 turbo V8. The Urus’ 4.0 turbo V8 produces 15 more horsepower (641 vs. 626) than the Bentayga SPEED’s standard 6.0 turbo 12-cylinder.

For better traction and acceleration, the Urus has larger standard rear tires than the Bentayga (315/40R21 vs. 285/45R21). The Urus’ optional rear tires are larger than the largest rear tires available on the Bentayga (325/30R23 vs. 285/45R21).

The Urus’ standard 315/40R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 40 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Bentayga’s standard 45 series tires. The Urus’ optional 285/35R23 front and 325/30R23 rear tires have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile than the Bentayga’s optional 40 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Urus offers optional 23-inch wheels. The Bentayga’s largest wheels are only 22-inches.

The Urus handles at 1.02 G’s, while the Bentayga pulls only .78 G’s of cornering force in a Car and Driver skidpad test.

The Urus executes Motor Trend’s “Figure Eight” maneuver 2.1 seconds quicker than the Bentayga (23.5 seconds @ .87 average G’s vs. 25.6 seconds @ .74 average G’s).

For better maneuverability, the Urus’ turning circle is .1 feet tighter than the Bentayga SPEED’s (38.9 feet vs. 39 feet). The Urus’ turning circle is 1.7 feet tighter than the Bentayga’s (38.9 feet vs. 40.6 feet).

For greater off-road capability the Urus has a greater minimum ground clearance than the Bentayga (9.8 vs. 9.7 inches), allowing the Urus to travel over rougher terrain without being stopped or damaged.

The Lamborghini Urus may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 500 to 750 pounds less than the Bentley Bentayga.

The Urus has .6 inches more front headroom and .2 inches more front shoulder room than the Bentayga.

The Urus has a much larger cargo volume than the Bentayga with its rear seat up (21.8 vs. 8 cubic feet).

The Urus’ standard rear seats fold to accommodate long and bulky cargo. The Bentayga w/Four Seat Comfort Specification doesn’t offer folding rear seats, only a ski pass-through.

The Urus’ standard towing capacity is much higher than the Bentayga’s (7716 vs. 7165 pounds).

Motor Trend performed a comparison test in its November 2019 issue and they ranked the Lamborghini Urus first. They ranked the Bentley Bentayga SPEED third.
