Regenerative brakes improve the Mustang Mach-E’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The Electrified G80 doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.

The Mustang Mach-E GT handles at .92 G’s, while the Electrified G80 pulls only .90 G’s of cornering force in a Car and Driver skidpad test.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 100 to 650 pounds less than the Genesis Electrified G80.

The Mustang Mach-E is 11.4 inches shorter than the Electrified G80, making the Mustang Mach-E easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The front grille of the Mustang Mach-E uses electronically controlled shutters to close off airflow and reduce drag when less engine cooling is needed. This helps improve highway fuel economy. The Electrified G80 doesn’t offer active grille shutters.

The Mustang Mach-E has 1.2 inches more front legroom, 1.6 inches more rear headroom and 2.2 inches more rear legroom than the Electrified G80.

The Mustang Mach-E’s standard rear seats fold to accommodate long and bulky cargo. The Electrified G80 doesn’t offer folding rear seats, only a ski pass-through.
