Regenerative brakes improve the Artura’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The AMG SL doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.
The Artura has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The AMG SL doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

The Artura’s tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the AMG SL’s standard 40 series front tires.
Suspension and Handling
The Artura has a standard automatic front and rear load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The AMG SL doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.
For better maneuverability, the Artura’s turning circle is 1.4 feet tighter than the AMG SL’s (39.3 feet vs. 40.7 feet).
Chassis
The McLaren Artura may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 1000 pounds less than the Mercedes AMG SL.
The Artura is 6.5 inches shorter than the AMG SL, making the Artura easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.
