Safety
Warranty
The Bentayga comes with a full 3-year/unlimited-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire truck and includes 24-hour roadside assistance. The RS Q8’s 50,000-mile basic warranty expires sooner.
Reliability
The battery on the Bentayga is under the floor, which protects it from hot underhood temperatures that can degrade battery life. By keeping the Bentayga’s battery 20 to 30 degrees cooler, its life is increased by years. The RS Q8’s battery is in the hot engine compartment.
Engine
The Bentayga SPEED’s standard 6.0 turbo 12-cylinder produces 35 more horsepower (626 vs. 591) and 74 lbs.-ft. more torque (664 vs. 590) than the RS Q8’s 4.0 turbo V8 hybrid.

Tires and Wheels
The Bentayga offers an optional space-saver spare tire so you can replace a flat tire and drive to have the flat repaired or replaced. A spare tire isn’t available on the RS Q8; it requires you to depend on roadside assistance and your vehicle will have to be towed.
Suspension and Handling
For better maneuverability, the Bentayga EWB’s turning circle is 4.8 feet tighter than the RS Q8’s (38.7 feet vs. 43.5 feet). The Bentayga’s turning circle is 2.9 feet tighter than the RS Q8’s (40.6 feet vs. 43.5 feet).
Chassis
The design of the Bentley Bentayga amounts to more than styling. The Bentayga has an aerodynamic coefficient of drag of .34 Cd. That is lower than the RS Q8 (.36). A more efficient exterior helps keep the interior quieter and helps the Bentayga get better fuel mileage.
Passenger Space
The Bentayga offers optional seating for 7 passengers; the RS Q8 can only carry 5.
Cargo Capacity

Pressing a button automatically lowers or raises the Bentayga’s second and third row seats, to make changing between cargo and passengers easier. The RS Q8 doesn’t offer automatic folding second row seats.
Towing
Standard Trailer Sway Mitigation on the Bentayga (except Hybrid) uses the Electronic Stability Control sensors to detect trailer sway, then uses individual brakes to counteract any swaying and help keep the tow vehicle and trailer steady. The RS Q8 doesn’t offer electronic trailer sway control.
Ergonomics
Unlike the driver-only memory system in the RS Q8, the Bentayga has standard driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position and outside mirror angle and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.
The Bentayga EWB’s optional power side swing out doors make it much easier to load and unload kids and cargo. One touch opens the door, before you even get to the sport utility. The RS Q8 doesn’t offer a power rear door.
The RS Q8’s cornering lamps activate a lamp on the front corner when the turn signal is activated. The Bentayga’s standard adaptive cornering lights turn the actual headlight unit up to several degrees, depending on steering wheel angle and vehicle speed. This lights a significant distance into corners at any speed.
To better shield the driver and front passenger’s vision, the Bentayga offers optional dual-element sun visors that can block glare from two directions simultaneously. The RS Q8 doesn’t offer secondary sun visors.
Optional air conditioned front and second row seats keep the Bentayga’s passengers comfortable and take the sting out of hot leather in summer. The RS Q8 doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats in the rear.
Both the Bentayga and the RS Q8 offer optional massaging front seats. The Bentayga also offers optional massaging second row seats in order to maximize comfort and eliminate fatigue on long trips. Massaging rear seats aren’t available in the RS Q8.
