The Vantage has a standard Birds-eye Camera to allow the driver to see objects all around the vehicle on a screen. The LC only offers a rear monitor and front and rear parking sensors that beep or flash a light. That doesn’t help with obstacles to the sides.

Both the Vantage and the LC have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights and blind spot warning systems.

The Vantage comes with a full 3-year/unlimited-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire car and includes free 24-hour roadside assistance. The LC’s 50,000-mile basic warranty expires sooner.

The Vantage’s corrosion warranty is 4 years longer than the LC’s (10 vs. 6 years).

On the EPA test cycle the Vantage V8 gets better fuel mileage than the LC 500 Coupe (18 city/24 hwy vs. 16 city/25 hwy).

On the EPA test cycle the Vantage gets better mileage than the LC Convertible:

An engine control system that can shut down some of the engine’s cylinders helps improve the Vantage V12’s fuel efficiency. The LC doesn’t offer a system that can shut down part of the engine.

Regardless of its engine, the Vantage’s engine automatically turns off when the vehicle is stopped, saving fuel and reducing pollution. If the conditions warrant or the driver wishes, the system can be manually disabled at any time for the duration of a trip. Lexus only offers an automatic engine start/stop system on the LC Hybrid, and doesn’t offer a disable button.

For better stopping power the Vantage CCB’s brake rotors are larger than those on the LC:

The Vantage offers optional heat-treated ceramic brake rotors, which last ten to twenty times as long as conventional cast iron rotors, don’t rust, don’t fade during repeated high speed braking, and their lighter weight contribute to better braking, handling and acceleration. The LC doesn’t offer ceramic brake rotors.

For better traction, the Vantage has larger tires than the LC (F:255/40R20 & R:295/35R20 vs. F:245/45R20 & R:275/40R20).

The Vantage’s standard 255/40R20 front and 295/35R20 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 40 series front and 35 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the LC’s standard 45 series front and 40 series rear tires. The Vantage F1/V12’s 255/35R21 front and 295/30R21 rear tires have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile than the LC’s optional 40 series front and 35 series rear tires.

The Vantage has a standard space-saver spare tire so you can replace a flat tire and drive to have the flat repaired or replaced. A spare tire isn’t available on the LC; it requires you to depend on its run-flat tires, which limits mileage and speed before they are repaired. If a run-flat is damaged beyond repair by a road hazard your vehicle will have to be towed.

The Vantage has a standard automatic front and rear load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The LC doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Vantage is 1.4 inches wider in the front and .4 inches wider in the rear than on the LC.

The Vantage Coupe handles at .99 G’s, while the LC 500h pulls only .91 G’s of cornering force in a Car and Driver skidpad test.

The Vantage Coupe executes Motor Trend’s “Figure Eight” maneuver 2.1 seconds quicker than the LC 500h (24 seconds @ .83 average G’s vs. 26.1 seconds @ .69 average G’s).

The Aston Martin Vantage may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 450 to 900 pounds less than the Lexus LC.

The Vantage is 11.6 inches shorter than the LC, making the Vantage easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The Vantage Coupe has .3 inches more front headroom and .3 inches more front legroom than the LC.

The Vantage Coupe has a much larger trunk than the LC (12.2 vs. 5.4 cubic feet).

The Vantage Roadster has a much larger trunk with its top down than the LC Convertible (7.1 vs. 3.4 cubic feet).

Unlike the driver-only memory system in the LC, the Vantage has standard driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position and outside mirror angle and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.

Heated windshield washer nozzles are standard on the Vantage to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The LC doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.

In poor weather, headlights can lose their effectiveness as grime builds up on their lenses. This can reduce visibility without the driver realizing. The Vantage has standard headlight washers to keep headlight output high. The LC doesn’t offer headlight washers.

When the Vantage is put in reverse, the passenger rearview mirror tilts from its original position. This gives the driver a better view of the curb during parallel parking maneuvers. Shifting out of reverse puts the mirror into its original position. The LC’s mirror doesn’t automatically adjust for backing.

The Vantage’s Auto Parking can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, with the driver only controlling speed with the brake pedal. The LC doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
