The DB11 has a standard Birds-eye Camera to allow the driver to see objects all around the vehicle on a screen. The SF90 only offers a rear monitor and rear parking sensors that beep or flash a light. That doesn’t help with obstacles to the front or sides.

Both the DB11 and the SF90 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights and rearview cameras.

The Aston Martin DB11 weighs 430 to 662 pounds more than the Ferrari SF90. The NHTSA advises that heavier cars are much safer in collisions than their significantly lighter counterparts.

Warranty

The DB11’s corrosion warranty is 7 years longer than the SF90’s (10 vs. 3 years).

Reliability

The SF90’s redline is at 8000 RPM, which causes more engine wear, and a greater chance of a catastrophic engine failure. The DB11 has a 7000 RPM redline.

Fuel Economy and Range

On the EPA test cycle the DB11 V8 gets better fuel mileage than the SF90 running its gasoline engine (18 city/24 hwy vs. 16 city/20 hwy).

An engine control system that can shut down some of the engine’s cylinders helps improve the DB11 V12’s fuel efficiency. The SF90 doesn’t offer a system that can shut down part of the engine.

The DB11 has 2.5 gallons more fuel capacity than the SF90 (20.5 vs. 18 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.

Suspension and Handling

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the DB11’s wheelbase is 6.1 inches longer than on the SF90 (110.4 inches vs. 104.3 inches).

The DB11’s front to rear weight distribution is more even (51% to 49%) than the SF90’s (45% to 55%). This gives the DB11 more stable handling and braking.

Passenger Space

The DB11 has standard seating for 4 passengers; the SF90 can only carry 2.

Cargo Capacity

The DB11 has a much larger trunk than the SF90 Coupe (9.9 vs. 2.6 cubic feet).

To make loading groceries and cargo easier when your hands are full, the DB11’s trunk can be opened just by kicking your foot under the back bumper, leaving your hands completely free. The SF90 doesn’t offer a hands-free gesture to open its trunk, forcing you to put cargo down if your hands are full.

Ergonomics

The DB11’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The SF90’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.

On extremely cold winter days, the DB11’s optional heated steering wheel provides comfort, allowing the driver to steer safely and comfortably before the car heater warms up. The SF90 doesn’t offer a heated steering wheel.

The DB11’s standard dual zone air conditioning allows the driver and front passenger to choose two completely different temperatures so people with different temperature preferences won’t have to compromise. This makes both the driver and front passenger as comfortable as possible. The SF90 doesn’t offer dual zone air conditioning.

The DB11’s Auto Parking can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, with the driver only controlling speed with the brake pedal. The SF90 doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
