The Aston Martin DB11 has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags helps prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The MC20 doesn’t offer knee airbags.

The DB11 has a standard blind spot warning system which uses sensors to alert the driver to objects in the vehicle’s blind spots where the side view mirrors don’t reveal them. A system to reveal vehicles in the MC20’s blind spot costs extra.

The Maserati MC20’s Extended Keyless Go doesn’t unlock the trunk.

To help drivers avoid possible obstacles, the DB11 has standard cornering lights to illuminate around corners when the turn signals are activated. The MC20 doesn’t offer cornering lights. The DB11 also has standard adaptive headlights to illuminate around corners automatically by reading vehicle speed and steering wheel angle.

The DB11’s power mirror controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The MC20’s power mirror controls are on the dash where they are possibly hidden by the steering wheel and are awkward to manipulate.

When the DB11 is put in reverse, the passenger rearview mirror tilts from its original position. This gives the driver a better view of the curb during parallel parking maneuvers. Shifting out of reverse puts the mirror into its original position. The MC20’s mirror doesn’t automatically adjust for backing.

Optional air-conditioned seats in the DB11 keep the driver and front passenger comfortable and take the sting out of hot seats in Summer. The MC20 doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats.

On extremely cold winter days, the DB11’s optional heated steering wheel provides comfort, allowing the driver to steer safely and comfortably before the car heater warms up. The MC20 doesn’t offer a heated steering wheel.

The DB11’s Auto Parking can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, with the driver only controlling speed with the brake pedal. The MC20 doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
