The DB11 has a standard Birds-eye Camera to allow the driver to see objects all around the vehicle on a screen. The LC only offers a rear monitor and front and rear parking sensors that beep or flash a light. That doesn’t help with obstacles to the sides.

Both the DB11 and the LC have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights, blind spot warning systems and rearview cameras.

The DB11 comes with a full 3-year/unlimited-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire car and includes free 24-hour roadside assistance. The LC’s 50,000-mile basic warranty expires sooner.

The DB11’s corrosion warranty is 4 years longer than the LC’s (10 vs. 6 years).

The DB11 V8’s standard 4.0 turbo V8 produces 174 more horsepower (528 vs. 354) and 163 lbs.-ft. more torque (513 vs. 350) than the LC 500h’s standard 3.5 DOHC V6 hybrid. The DB11 V8’s 4.0 turbo V8 produces 57 more horsepower (528 vs. 471) and 115 lbs.-ft. more torque (513 vs. 398) than the LC 500’s standard 5.0 DOHC V8. The DB11 V12’s standard 5.2 turbo V12 produces 159 more horsepower (630 vs. 471) and 118 lbs.-ft. more torque (516 vs. 398) than the LC 500’s standard 5.0 DOHC V8.

On the EPA test cycle the DB11 V8 gets better fuel mileage than the LC 500 Coupe (18 city/24 hwy vs. 16 city/25 hwy).

An engine control system that can shut down some of the engine’s cylinders helps improve the DB11 V12’s fuel efficiency. The LC doesn’t offer a system that can shut down part of the engine.

Regardless of its engine, the DB11’s engine automatically turns off when the vehicle is stopped, saving fuel and reducing pollution. If the conditions warrant or the driver wishes, the system can be manually disabled at any time for the duration of a trip. Lexus only offers an automatic engine start/stop system on the LC Hybrid, and doesn’t offer a disable button.

The DB11’s launch control uses engine electronics to hold engine RPM’s precisely in order to provide the most stable and rapid acceleration possible, using all of the available traction. The LC doesn’t offer launch control.

For better traction, the DB11 has larger tires than the LC (F:255/40R20 & R:295/35R20 vs. F:245/45R20 & R:275/40R20).

The DB11’s 255/40R20 front and 295/35R20 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 40 series front and 35 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the LC’s standard 45 series front and 40 series rear tires.

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the DB11 is 1.4 inches wider in the front and .4 inches wider in the rear than on the LC.

The DB11 handles at .98 G’s, while the LC 500h pulls only .88 G’s of cornering force in a Motor Trend skidpad test.

The DB11 executes Motor Trend’s “Figure Eight” maneuver 2.2 seconds quicker than the LC 500h (23.9 seconds @ .84 average G’s vs. 26.1 seconds @ .69 average G’s).

The Aston Martin DB11 may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 400 to 450 pounds less than the Lexus LC.

The DB11 has 1.4 inches more front headroom, 3.1 inches more front legroom and 1 inch more rear headroom than the LC.

The DB11 has a much larger trunk than the LC (9.9 vs. 5.4 cubic feet).

To make loading groceries and cargo easier when your hands are full, the DB11’s trunk can be opened just by kicking your foot under the back bumper, leaving your hands completely free. The LC doesn’t offer a hands-free gesture to open its trunk, forcing you to put cargo down if your hands are full.

Unlike the driver-only memory system in the LC, the DB11 has standard driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position and outside mirror angle and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.

In case of a sudden change of weather, the DB11 has a standard remote convertible top that can be raised from a distance to protect the interior of the vehicle from damage. On a hot day the DB11 has a standard remote opening feature, to lower the top from outside. The LC doesn’t offer a remote top, so the driver will have to run to the car, get in, turn the ignition on and raise the top to prevent the interior from being damaged.

The LC’s cornering lamps activate a lamp on the front corner when the turn signal is activated. The DB11’s standard adaptive cornering lights turn the actual headlight unit up to several degrees, depending on steering wheel angle and vehicle speed. This lights a significant distance into corners at any speed.

When the DB11 is put in reverse, the passenger rearview mirror tilts from its original position. This gives the driver a better view of the curb during parallel parking maneuvers. Shifting out of reverse puts the mirror into its original position. The LC’s mirror doesn’t automatically adjust for backing.

The DB11’s Auto Parking can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, with the driver only controlling speed with the brake pedal. The LC doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
