To lower fuel costs and make buying fuel easier, the Nissan Armada uses regular unleaded gasoline. The Grand Wagoneer L requires premium, which can cost 20 to 55 cents more per gallon.

The Armada stops shorter than the Wagoneer L:

The rear suspension of the Armada uses air springs for a smoother, controlled ride than the Wagoneer L, which uses coil springs. Air springs maintain proper ride height and ride more smoothly.

For better maneuverability, the Armada’s turning circle is .7 feet tighter than the Wagoneer L’s (41.3 feet vs. 42 feet).

For greater off-road capability the Armada S/SV has a greater minimum ground clearance than the Wagoneer L (9.1 vs. 8.3 inches), allowing the Armada to travel over rougher terrain without being stopped or damaged.

The Nissan Armada may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 400 to 650 pounds less than the Jeep Wagoneer L.

The Armada is 1 foot, 5.8 inches shorter than the Wagoneer L, making the Armada easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

If the windows are left open on the Armada the driver can close them all at the outside door handle. On a hot day the driver can lower the windows at the outside door handle or from a distance using the keyless remote. The driver of the Wagoneer L can only operate the windows from inside the vehicle, with the ignition on.

The Nissan Armada outsold the Jeep Wagoneer by almost three to one during 2021.
