Both the F-Pace and Corsair have child safety locks to prevent children from opening the rear doors. The F-Pace has power child safety locks, allowing the driver to activate and deactivate them from the driver's seat and to know when they're engaged. The Corsair’s child locks have to be individually engaged at each rear door with a manual switch. The driver can’t know the status of the locks without opening the doors and checking them.

To provide maximum traction and stability on all roads, All-Wheel Drive is standard on the F-Pace. But it costs extra on the Corsair.

When descending a steep, off-road slope, the F-Pace’s standard All Surface Progress Control allows you to creep down safely. The Corsair doesn’t offer All Surface Progress Control.

Both the F-Pace and the Corsair have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras, rear cross-path warning, driver alert monitors and available around view monitors.

The F-Pace comes with a full 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire truck and includes 24-hour roadside assistance. The Corsair’s 4-year/50,000-mile basic warranty expires 1 year or 10,000 miles sooner.

The F-Pace’s corrosion warranty is 1 year longer than the Corsair’s (6 vs. 5 years).

Jaguar pays for scheduled maintenance on the F-Pace for 5 years and 60,000 miles. Jaguar will pay for oil changes, lubrication and any other required maintenance. Lincoln only pays for the first scheduled maintenance visit on the Corsair.

The battery on the F-Pace is in the trunk, which protects it from hot underhood temperatures that can degrade battery life. By keeping the F-Pace’s battery 20 to 30 degrees cooler, its life is increased by years. The Corsair’s battery is in the hot engine compartment.

Regardless of its engine, regenerative brakes improve the F-Pace’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. Lincoln only offers a regenerative brake system on the Corsair Grand Touring.

The F-Pace has 10.8 gallons more fuel capacity than the Corsair Grand Touring Hybrid’s standard fuel tank (21.9 vs. 11.1 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups. The F-Pace has 5.7 gallons more fuel capacity than the Corsair’s standard fuel tank (21.9 vs. 16.2 gallons).

For better stopping power the F-Pace’s brake rotors are larger than those on the Corsair:

The F-Pace’s standard front and rear disc brakes are vented to help dissipate heat for shorter stops with less fading. The rear discs on the Corsair are solid, not vented.

For better traction, the F-Pace has larger standard tires than the Corsair (255/55R19 vs. 225/60R18). The F-Pace SVR’s tires are larger than the largest tires available on the Corsair (F:265/45R21 & R:295/40R21 vs. 245/45R20).

The F-Pace’s standard tires provide better handling because they have a lower 55 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Corsair Standard’s standard 60 series tires. The F-Pace SVR’s optional 265/40R22 front and 295/35R22 rear tires have a lower 40 series front and 35 series rear profile than the Corsair Reserve/Grand Touring’s optional 45 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the F-Pace has standard 19-inch wheels. Smaller 18-inch wheels are standard on the Corsair Standard. The F-Pace’s optional 22-inch wheels are larger than the 20-inch wheels optional on the Corsair Reserve/Grand Touring.

Having a flat tire is dangerous, inconvenient and expensive. The self-sealing tires available on the F-Pace can automatically seal most punctures up to 3/16 of an inch, effectively preventing most flat tires. The Corsair doesn’t offer self-sealing tires.

The F-Pace offers an optional full size spare tire so a flat doesn’t interrupt your trip. A full size spare isn’t available on the Corsair; it requires you to depend on a temporary spare, which has mileage and speed limitations, or roadside assistance and a tow-truck.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the F-Pace’s wheelbase is 6.4 inches longer than on the Corsair (113.1 inches vs. 106.7 inches).

For better handling and stability, the average track (width between the wheels) on the F-Pace is 2.1 inches wider in the front and 1.8 inches wider in the rear than the track on the Corsair.

The F-Pace SVR handles at .89 G’s, while the Corsair Reserve AWD pulls only .83 G’s of cornering force in a Car and Driver skidpad test.

The F-Pace SVR executes Motor Trend’s “Figure Eight” maneuver 2.7 seconds quicker than the Corsair Standard AWD (25 seconds @ .77 average G’s vs. 27.7 seconds @ .67 average G’s).

The F-Pace has .2 inches more front headroom and .6 inches more front shoulder room than the Corsair.

The F-Pace has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat up than the Corsair with its rear seat up (32.1 vs. 27.6 cubic feet). The F-Pace has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat folded than the Corsair with its rear seat folded (70.4 vs. 57.6 cubic feet).

The F-Pace’s standard towing capacity is much higher than the Corsair’s (5291 vs. 3000 pounds).

The engine in the F-Pace is mounted longitudinally (North-South), instead of sideways, as in the Corsair. This makes it easier to service and maintain, because the accessory belts are in front.

Unlike the driver-only memory system in the Corsair, the F-Pace (except Base) offers an optional driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position and outside mirror angle and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.

The F-Pace’s rain-sensitive wipers adjust their speed and turn on and off automatically based on the amount of rainfall on the windshield. This allows the driver to concentrate on driving without constantly adjusting the wipers. The Corsair’s standard intermittent wipers change speed with vehicle speed, but can’t turn on and off or change speed based on changing rainfall.

Heated windshield washer nozzles are optional on the F-Pace to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The Corsair doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.

When the F-Pace is put in reverse, the passenger rearview mirror tilts from its original position. This gives the driver a better view of the curb during parallel parking maneuvers. Shifting out of reverse puts the mirror into its original position. The Corsair’s mirror doesn’t automatically adjust for backing.

To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Jaguar F-Pace has a standard wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the center console. Only the Corsair Reserve/Grand Touring offers wireless charging and it costs extra.
