The F-Pace’s standard lane departure warning system alerts a temporarily inattentive driver when the vehicle begins to leave its lane and gently nudges the vehicle back towards its lane. A lane departure warning system costs extra on the Bentayga.

The F-Pace’s driver alert monitor detects an inattentive driver then sounds a warning and suggests a break. According to the NHTSA, drivers who fall asleep cause about 100,000 crashes and 1500 deaths a year. The Bentayga doesn’t offer a driver alert monitor.

Both the F-Pace and the Bentayga have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras, rear cross-path warning and available around view monitors.

The F-Pace comes with a full 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire truck and includes 24-hour roadside assistance. The Bentayga’s 3-year basic warranty expires 2 years sooner.

The F-Pace’s corrosion warranty is 3 years longer than the Bentayga’s (6 vs. 3 years).

Jaguar pays for scheduled maintenance on the F-Pace for 5 years and 60,000 miles. Jaguar will pay for oil changes, lubrication and any other required maintenance. Bentley doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the Bentayga.

There are almost 4 times as many Jaguar dealers as there are Bentley dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the F-Pace’s warranty.

On the EPA test cycle the F-Pace gets better mileage than the Bentayga:

Regardless of its engine, regenerative brakes improve the F-Pace’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. Bentley only offers a regenerative brake system on the Bentayga Hybrid.

The F-Pace stops much shorter than the Bentayga:

The F-Pace SVR’s optional 295/35R22 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Bentayga’s optional 40 series tires.

Having a flat tire is dangerous, inconvenient and expensive. The self-sealing tires available on the F-Pace can automatically seal most punctures up to 3/16 of an inch, effectively preventing most flat tires. The Bentayga doesn’t offer self-sealing tires.

The F-Pace offers an optional full size spare tire so a flat doesn’t interrupt your trip. A full size spare isn’t available on the Bentayga; it requires you to depend on a temporary spare, which has mileage and speed limitations, or roadside assistance and a tow-truck.

The F-Pace’s front to rear weight distribution is more even (51% to 49%) than the Bentayga’s (56% to 44%). This gives the F-Pace more stable handling and braking.

The F-Pace SVR handles at .89 G’s, while the Bentayga pulls only .78 G’s of cornering force in a Car and Driver skidpad test.

The F-Pace SVR executes Motor Trend’s “Figure Eight” maneuver quicker than the Bentayga (25 seconds @ .77 average G’s vs. 25.6 seconds @ .74 average G’s).

The Jaguar F-Pace may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 1100 to 1350 pounds less than the Bentley Bentayga.

The F-Pace is 1 foot, 2.9 inches shorter than the Bentayga, making the F-Pace easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The F-Pace uses computer-generated active noise cancellation to help remove annoying noise and vibration from the passenger compartment, especially at low frequencies. The Bentayga doesn’t offer active noise cancellation.

The F-Pace has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat up than the Bentayga with its rear seat up (32.1 vs. 8 cubic feet). The F-Pace has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat folded than the Bentayga with its rear seat folded (70.4 vs. 62.6 cubic feet).

The F-Pace’s standard rear seats fold to accommodate long and bulky cargo. The Bentayga w/Four Seat Comfort Specification doesn’t offer folding rear seats, only a ski pass-through.

If the windows are left open on the F-Pace the driver can close them all at the outside door handle. On a hot day the driver can lower the windows at the outside door handle or from a distance using the keyless remote. The driver of the Bentayga can only operate the windows from inside the vehicle, with the ignition on.

To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the F-Pace has a standard rear fixed intermittent wiper with a full on position. The rear wiper standard on the Bentayga only has an intermittent setting, so in a hard rain visibility isn’t as good.

The Jaguar F-Pace outsold the Bentley Bentayga by almost five to one during the 2022 model year.
