Both the F-Pace and DBX have child safety locks to prevent children from opening the rear doors. The F-Pace has power child safety locks, allowing the driver to activate and deactivate them from the driver's seat and to know when they're engaged. The DBX’s child locks have to be individually engaged at each rear door with a manual switch. The driver can’t know the status of the locks without opening the doors and checking them.

The F-Pace’s driver alert monitor detects an inattentive driver then sounds a warning and suggests a break. According to the NHTSA, drivers who fall asleep cause about 100,000 crashes and 1500 deaths a year. The DBX doesn’t offer a driver alert monitor.

The F-Pace has standard SOS Emergency Call, which uses a global positioning satellite (GPS) receiver and a cellular system to remotely unlock your doors if you lock your keys in, help track down your vehicle if it’s stolen or send emergency personnel to the scene if any airbags deploy. The DBX doesn’t offer a GPS response system, only a navigation computer with no live response for emergencies, so if you’re involved in an accident and you’re incapacitated help may not come as quickly.

Both the F-Pace and the DBX have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras, rear cross-path warning and available around view monitors.

The F-Pace comes with a full 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire truck and includes 24-hour roadside assistance. The DBX’s 3-year basic warranty expires 2 years sooner.

Jaguar pays for scheduled maintenance on the F-Pace for 5 years and 60,000 miles. Jaguar will pay for oil changes, lubrication and any other required maintenance. Aston Martin doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the DBX.

There are over 5 times as many Jaguar dealers as there are Aston Martin dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the F-Pace’s warranty.

Regenerative brakes improve the F-Pace’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The DBX doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.

Having a flat tire is dangerous, inconvenient and expensive. The self-sealing tires available on the F-Pace can automatically seal most punctures up to 3/16 of an inch, effectively preventing most flat tires. The DBX doesn’t offer self-sealing tires.

The F-Pace offers an optional full size spare tire so a flat doesn’t interrupt your trip. A full size spare isn’t available on the DBX; it requires you to depend on a temporary spare, which has mileage and speed limitations, or roadside assistance and a tow-truck.

The F-Pace’s front to rear weight distribution is more even (51% to 49%) than the DBX’s (52.7% to 47.3%). This gives the F-Pace more stable handling and braking.

For better maneuverability, the F-Pace’s turning circle is 1.5 feet tighter than the DBX’s (39.2 feet vs. 40.7 feet).

The Jaguar F-Pace may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 600 to 950 pounds less than the Aston Martin DBX.

The F-Pace is 11.5 inches shorter than the DBX, making the F-Pace easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The F-Pace uses computer-generated active noise cancellation to help remove annoying noise and vibration from the passenger compartment, especially at low frequencies. The DBX doesn’t offer active noise cancellation.

The F-Pace has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat up than the DBX with its rear seat up (32.1 vs. 22.5 cubic feet). The F-Pace has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat folded than the DBX with its rear seat folded (70.4 vs. 54 cubic feet).

A low lift-over cargo hatch design makes loading and unloading the F-Pace easier. The F-Pace’s cargo hatch lift-over height is 30.5 inches, while the DBX’s liftover is 31.9 inches.

A maintenance reminder system is standard on the F-Pace to save the owner time and money by calculating maintenance intervals for oil changes based on odometer mileage. This takes the guesswork out of keeping your vehicle in top condition and helps it last longer. Aston Martin doesn’t offer a maintenance reminder on the DBX.

The F-Pace has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The DBX doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

The F-Pace S/R-Dynamic/SVR offers an optional heads-up display that projects speed, warning and navigation instruction readouts in front of the driver’s line of sight, allowing drivers to view information without diverting their eyes from the road. The DBX doesn’t offer a heads-up display.

Heated windshield washer nozzles are optional on the F-Pace to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The DBX doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.

To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the F-Pace has a standard rear wiper. The DBX doesn’t offer a rear wiper.

The F-Pace (except Base) offers optional massaging front seats in order to maximize comfort and eliminate fatigue on long trips. Massaging seats aren’t available in the DBX.

To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Jaguar F-Pace has a standard wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the center console. Wireless charging costs extra on the DBX.

The Jaguar F-Pace outsold the Aston Martin DBX by almost 8 to one during the 2022 model year.
