Jeep’s powertrain warranty covers the Grand Cherokee 1 year and 10,000 miles longer than Porsche covers the Cayenne. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Coverage on the Cayenne ends after only 4 years or 50,000 miles.

Jeep pays for scheduled maintenance (up to 3 oil changes) on the Grand Cherokee for 2 years and -10,000 miles longer than Porsche pays for maintenance for the Cayenne (3/unlimited vs. 1/10,000).

There are over 12 times as many Jeep dealers as there are Porsche dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Grand Cherokee’s warranty.
