There are almost 4 times as many Honda dealers as there are Acura dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Civic Si’s warranty.

Power and Associates’ 2022 survey of the owners of three-year-old vehicles provides the long-term dependability statistics that show that Honda vehicles are more reliable than Acura With 14 fewer problems per 100 vehicles in the first three years of ownership, J.D. Power ranks Honda higher than Acura.

From surveys of all its subscribers, Consumer Reports’ January 2021 Auto Issue reports that Honda vehicles are more reliable than Acura vehicles. Consumer Reports ranks Honda 23 places higher in reliability than Acura.

As tested in Car and Driver the Honda Civic Si is faster than the Acura Integra (manual transmissions tested):

On the EPA test cycle the Civic Si gets better fuel mileage than the Integra A-Spec 6-speed Manual (27 city/37 hwy vs. 26 city/36 hwy).

The Civic Si stops much shorter than the Integra:

For better traction, the Civic Si has larger tires than the Integra (235/40R18 vs. 215/50R17).

The Civic Si’s tires provide better handling because they have a lower 40 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Integra’s standard 50 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Civic Si has standard 18-inch wheels. Smaller 17-inch wheels are standard on the Integra.

The Civic Si handles at .97 G’s, while the Integra A-Spec Technology pulls only .88 G’s of cornering force in a Car and Driver skidpad test.

With standard voice command, the Civic Si Touring offers the driver hands free control of the radio and the navigation computer by simply speaking. The Integra doesn’t offer a voice control system.
