Both the SF90 and the Chiron have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights and rearview cameras.

The SF90 can travel with zero emissions for 8 miles. The Chiron can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.
Regenerative brakes improve the SF90’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The Chiron doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.
In heavy traffic or at stoplights the SF90’s engine automatically turns off when the vehicle is stopped, saving fuel and reducing pollution. The engine is automatically restarted when the driver gets ready to move again. The Chiron doesn’t offer an automatic engine start/stop system.
Environmental Friendliness
In its Green Vehicle Guide, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rates the Ferrari SF90 higher (3 out of 10) than the Bugatti Chiron (1). This means the SF90 produces up to 22.5 pounds less smog-producing pollutants than the Chiron every 15,000 miles.
Transmission
An eight-speed automatic (SMG) is standard on the Ferrari SF90, for better acceleration and lower engine speed on the highway. Only a seven-speed automatic is available for the Chiron.
Suspension and Handling
The SF90’s front to rear weight distribution is more even (45% to 55%) than the Chiron’s (43% to 57%). This gives the SF90 more stable handling and braking.
Chassis
The Ferrari SF90 may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 750 to 950 pounds less than the Bugatti Chiron.
The SF90’s standard power retractable hardtop allows a seamless transition from an open car, to a completely sealed coupe. The Chiron doesn’t offer a retractable hardtop.
Cargo Capacity
The SF90 Coupe has a larger trunk than the Chiron (2.6 vs. 2 cubic feet).
Ergonomics
The SF90 has a standard heads-up display that projects speed in front of the driver’s line of sight, allowing drivers to view information without diverting their eyes from the road. The Chiron doesn’t offer a heads-up display.
The SF90’s rain-sensitive wipers adjust their speed and turn on and off automatically based on the amount of rainfall on the windshield. This allows the driver to concentrate on driving without constantly adjusting the wipers. The Chiron’s
While driving with high beams on, sensitive light sensors standard on the SF90 detect other vehicles which could be blinded and automatically switch to low beams. The Chiron doesn’t offer automatic dimming high beams.
The SF90’s standard steering wheel mounted cruise control is close at hand. The Chiron’s standard cruise control is on an over-crowded turn signal stalk.
Model Availability
The Ferrari SF90 comes in coupe and convertible bodystyles; the Bugatti Chiron isn’t available as a convertible.
