Environmental Friendliness
In its Green Vehicle Guide, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rates the Ferrari Portofino higher (3 out of 10) than the Lamborghini Huracán (1). This means the Portofino produces up to 22.5 pounds less smog-producing pollutants than the Huracán every 15,000 miles.
Transmission
An eight-speed automatic (SMG) is standard on the Ferrari Portofino, for better acceleration and lower engine speed on the highway. Only a seven-speed automatic is available for the Huracán.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Portofino’s wheelbase is 2 inches longer than on the Huracán (105.1 inches vs. 103.1 inches).
The Portofino’s front to rear weight distribution is more even (46% to 54%) than the Huracán’s (43% to 57%). This gives the Portofino more stable handling and braking.
Chassis
The Portofino’s standard power retractable hardtop allows a seamless transition from an open car, to a completely sealed coupe. The Huracán doesn’t offer a retractable hardtop.

Ergonomics
When three different drivers share the Portofino, the memory system makes it convenient for all three. Each setting activates different, customized memories for the driver’s seat position, steering wheel position and outside mirror angle. The Huracán doesn’t offer a memory system.
To help drivers see further while navigating curves, the Portofino offers optional adaptive headlights to illuminate around corners automatically by reading vehicle speed and steering wheel angle. The Huracán doesn’t offer cornering lights.
