Both the 296 GTB and the DB11 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding and rearview cameras.

Safety
Warranty
Ferrari pays for scheduled maintenance on the 296 GTB for 7 years and unlimited miles. Ferrari will pay for oil changes, lubrication and any other required maintenance. Aston Martin doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the DB11.
Engine
The 296 GTB’s 3.0 turbo V6 hybrid produces 291 more horsepower (819 vs. 528) than the DB11 V8’s standard 4.0 turbo V8. The 296 GTB’s 3.0 turbo V6 hybrid produces 189 more horsepower (819 vs. 630) than the DB11 V12’s standard 5.2 turbo V12.
Fuel Economy and Range
On the EPA test cycle the 296 GTB running on electricity gets better mileage than the DB11 Coupe:

On the EPA test cycle the 296 GTB running its gasoline engine gets better fuel mileage than the DB11 V12 (16 city/22 hwy vs. 14 city/22 hwy).
The 296 GTB can travel with zero emissions for 8 miles. The DB11 can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.
Regenerative brakes improve the 296 GTB’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The DB11 doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.
Transmission
The 296 GTB offers a standard sequential manual gearbox (SMG). With no clutch pedal to worry about and a fully automatic mode, an SMG is much more efficient than a conventional automatic but just as easy to drive. The DB11 doesn’t offer an SMG or a conventional manual transmission.
Brakes and Stopping
The 296 GTB has standard heat-treated ceramic brake rotors, which last ten to twenty times as long as conventional cast iron rotors, don’t rust, don’t fade during repeated high speed braking, and their lighter weight contribute to better braking, handling and acceleration. The DB11 doesn’t offer ceramic brake rotors.
Tires and Wheels
For better traction and acceleration, the 296 GTB has larger rear tires than the DB11 (305/35R20 vs. 295/35R20).
The 296 GTB’s tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the DB11’s standard 40 series front tires.
Chassis
The Ferrari 296 GTB may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 650 to 900 pounds less than the Aston Martin DB11.
The 296 GTB is 7.3 inches shorter than the DB11, making the 296 GTB easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.
Cargo Capacity
A standard locking glovebox keeps your small valuables safer in the 296 GTB. The DB11 doesn’t offer locking storage for small valuables.
Ergonomics
The 296 GTB’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The DB11 does not have an oil pressure gauge.
The 296 GTB has a standard heads-up display that projects speed and tachometer readouts in front of the driver’s line of sight, allowing drivers to view information without diverting their eyes from the road. The DB11 doesn’t offer a heads-up display.
