The Vantage has a standard Birds-eye Camera to allow the driver to see objects all around the vehicle on a screen. The F-Type only offers a rear monitor and front and rear parking sensors that beep or flash a light. That doesn’t help with obstacles to the sides.

The Vantage has a standard blind spot warning system which uses sensors to alert the driver to objects in the vehicle’s blind spots where the side view mirrors don’t reveal them. A system to reveal vehicles in the F-Type’s blind spot costs extra.

Both the Vantage and the F-Type have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights and front and rear parking sensors.

The Vantage comes with a full 3-year/unlimited-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire car and includes free 24-hour roadside assistance. The F-Type’s 60,000-mile basic warranty expires sooner.

The Vantage’s corrosion warranty is 4 years longer than the F-Type’s (10 vs. 6 years).

The Vantage’s standard 4.0 turbo V8 produces 59 more horsepower (503 vs. 444) and 77 lbs.-ft. more torque (505 vs. 428) than the F-Type P450’s standard 5.0 supercharged V8.

The Vantage offers optional heat-treated ceramic brake rotors, which last ten to twenty times as long as conventional cast iron rotors, don’t rust, don’t fade during repeated high speed braking, and their lighter weight contribute to better braking, handling and acceleration. The F-Type doesn’t offer ceramic brake rotors.

The Vantage stops shorter than the F-Type:

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Vantage offers optional 21-inch wheels. The F-Type’s largest wheels are only 20-inches.

The Vantage has a standard space-saver spare tire so you can replace a flat tire and drive to have the flat repaired or replaced. A spare tire isn’t available on the F-Type; it requires you to depend on roadside assistance and your vehicle will have to be towed.

The Vantage has a standard automatic front and rear load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The F-Type doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Vantage’s wheelbase is 3.3 inches longer than on the F-Type (106.5 inches vs. 103.2 inches).

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Vantage is 3.2 inches wider in the front and .7 inches wider in the rear than on the F-Type.

The Vantage’s front to rear weight distribution is more even (50% to 50%) than the F-Type’s (54.5% to 45.5%). This gives the Vantage more stable handling and braking.

The Vantage Coupe executes Motor Trend’s “Figure Eight” maneuver quicker than the F-Type R Coupe (24 seconds @ .83 average G’s vs. 24.4 seconds @ .82 average G’s).

The Vantage’s standard easy entry system raises the steering wheel and glides the driver’s seat back, making it easier for the driver to get in and out. An easy entry system costs extra on the F-Type.

Heated windshield washer nozzles are standard on the Vantage to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The F-Type doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.

The Vantage has a standard dual zone air conditioning allows the driver and front passenger to choose two completely different temperatures so people with different temperature preferences won’t have to compromise. This makes both the driver and front passenger as comfortable as possible. Dual zone air conditioning costs extra on the F-Type.

With standard voice command, the Vantage offers the driver hands free control of the radio and the navigation computer by simply speaking. The F-Type doesn’t offer a voice control system.
