The Vantage has a standard Birds-eye Camera to allow the driver to see objects all around the vehicle on a screen. The 812 only offers a rear monitor and front and rear parking sensors that beep or flash a light. That doesn’t help with obstacles to the sides.

Both the Vantage and the 812 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights and front and rear parking sensors.

The Vantage’s optional 295/30R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 30 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the 812’s 35 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Vantage offers optional 21-inch wheels. The 812’s largest wheels are only 20-inches.

For better maneuverability, the Vantage’s turning circle is 2.4 feet tighter than the 812’s (38.7 feet vs. 41.1 feet).

Unlike the driver-only memory system optional at extra cost in the 812, the Vantage has standard driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position and outside mirror angle and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.

The Vantage’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The 812’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.

If the windows are left open on the Vantage the driver can close them all from a distance using the remote. On a hot day the driver can also lower the windows the same way. The driver of the 812 can only operate the windows from inside the vehicle, with the ignition on.

Keyless Entry standard on the Vantage allows you to unlock the driver’s door, trunk and start the engine all without removing a key from pocket or purse. This eliminates searching for keys before loading groceries, getting in the vehicle in bad weather or making a hurried start to your trip. The Ferrari 812’s Keyless Start doesn’t unlock the doors or the trunk.

Heated windshield washer nozzles are standard on the Vantage to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The 812 doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.

Optional air-conditioned seats in the Vantage keep the driver and front passenger comfortable and take the sting out of hot seats in Summer. The 812 doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats.

On extremely cold winter days, the Vantage’s optional heated steering wheel provides comfort, allowing the driver to steer safely and comfortably before the car heater warms up. The 812 doesn’t offer a heated steering wheel.

The Vantage’s Auto Park Assist can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, with the driver only controlling speed with the brake pedal. The 812 doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
