Compare the2023 Nissan Z VS 2022 Jaguar F-Type

Both the Z and the F-Type have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems and rearview cameras.

Power ranks Nissan above average in initial quality. With 43 more problems per 100 vehicles, Jaguar is rated below average.

Power and Associates’ 2022 survey of the owners of three-year-old vehicles provides the long-term dependability statistics that show that Nissan vehicles are more reliable than Jaguar With 28 fewer problems per 100 vehicles in the first three years of ownership, J.D. Power ranks Nissan higher than Jaguar.

The Z offers a manual transmission for better acceleration, control and sportiness. The F-Type doesn’t offer a manual transmission.

A nine-speed automatic is no cost option on the Nissan Z, for better acceleration and lower engine speed on the highway. Only an eight-speed automatic is available for the F-Type.

The Z is 3.6 inches shorter than the F-Type, making the Z easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The Z Performance uses computer-generated active noise cancellation to help remove annoying noise and vibration from the passenger compartment, especially at low frequencies. The F-Type doesn’t offer active noise cancellation.

The Z Coupe has 1.4 inches more front headroom and .1 inches more front legroom than the F-Type Coupe.

The Z’s standard power windows have a locking feature to keep children from operating them. Jaguar does not offer a locking feature on the F-Type’s standard power windows.

To keep a safe, consistent following distance, the Z has a standard Intelligent Cruise Control, which alters the speed of the vehicle without driver intervention. This allows the driver to use cruise control more safely without constantly having to disengage it when approaching slower traffic. The F-Type doesn’t offer an adaptive cruise control.

With standard voice command, the Z offers the driver hands free control of the radio and the navigation computer by simply speaking. The F-Type doesn’t offer a voice control system.
