Ergonomics
The Yukon XL Denali Ultimate has standard massaging front seats in order to maximize comfort and eliminate fatigue on long trips. Massaging seats aren’t available in the Suburban.
Economic Advantages
Insurance will cost less for the Yukon XL owner. The Car Book by Jack Gillis rates the Yukon XL with a number “6” insurance rate while the Suburban is rated higher at a number “10” rate.
According to The Car Book by Jack Gillis, the Yukon XL is less expensive to operate than the Suburban because typical repairs cost less on the Yukon XL than the Suburban, including $16 less for front brake pads and $6 less for front struts.
Recommendations
J.D. Power and Associates rated the Yukon XL third among s in owner reported satisfaction. This includes how well the vehicle performs and satisfies its owner’s expectations. The Suburban isn’t in the top three in its category.
