The Aventador offers optional parking sensors to help warn the driver about vehicles, pedestrians or other obstacles behind or in front of their vehicle. The SF90 doesn’t offer a front parking aid.
Both the Aventador and the SF90 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes, all wheel drive, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights and rearview cameras.
An engine control system that can shut down some of the engine’s cylinders helps improve the Aventador’s fuel efficiency. The SF90 doesn’t offer a system that can shut down part of the engine.
The Aventador has 5.8 gallons more fuel capacity than the SF90 (23.8 vs. 18 gallons), for longer range between fill-ups.
The Aventador has standard heat-treated ceramic brake rotors, which last ten to twenty times as long as conventional cast iron rotors, don’t rust, don’t fade during repeated high speed braking, and their lighter weight contribute to better braking, handling and acceleration. The SF90 doesn’t offer ceramic brake rotors.
For better traction and acceleration, the Aventador has larger rear tires than the SF90 (355/25R21 vs. 315/30R20).
The Aventador’s 255/30R20 front and 355/25R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 30 series front and 25 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the SF90’s 35 series front and 30 series rear tires.
For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Aventador has standard 21-inch rear wheels. Only 20-inch wheels are available on the SF90.
For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Aventador’s wheelbase is 2 inches longer than on the SF90 (106.3 inches vs. 104.3 inches).
For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Aventador is 1.6 inches wider in the front and 1.1 inches wider in the rear than on the SF90.
The Aventador has a much larger trunk than the SF90 Coupe (5.2 vs. 2.6 cubic feet).
In poor weather, headlights can lose their effectiveness as grime builds up on their lenses. This can reduce visibility without the driver realizing. The Aventador has standard headlight washers to keep headlight output high. The SF90 doesn’t offer headlight washers.
