Transmission
A nine-speed automatic is standard on the Ram ProMaster City Wagon, for better acceleration and lower engine speed on the highway. Only an eight-speed automatic is available for the Carnival.
Tires and Wheels
The ProMaster City Wagon’s tires provide better handling because they have a lower 55 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Carnival LX’s standard 65 series tires.

The ProMaster City Wagon has 5.1 inches more front headroom and 4.5 inches more rear headroom than the Carnival.
Cargo Capacity
A standard locking glovebox keeps your small valuables safer in the ProMaster City Wagon. The Carnival doesn’t offer locking storage for small valuables.
Ergonomics
The ProMaster City Wagon offers a remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The Carnival doesn’t offer a remote starting system.
The ProMaster City Wagon’s front power windows open or close fully with one touch of the switches, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths, or when talking with someone outside the car. The Carnival’s standard passenger windows don’t open or close automatically.
