Unlike the driver-only memory seat and mirrors optional at extra cost in the 600LT, the DBS has standard driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position and outside mirror angle and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.
The DBS’ standard easy entry system raises the steering wheel, making it easier for the driver to get in and out. An easy entry system costs extra on the 600LT.
If the windows are left open on the DBS the driver can close them all from a distance using the remote. On a hot day the driver can also lower the windows the same way. The driver of the 600LT can’t use the remote to operate the windows.
In case of a sudden change of weather, the DBS has a standard remote convertible top that can be raised from a distance to protect the interior of the vehicle from damage. On a hot day the DBS has a standard remote opening feature, to lower the top from outside. The 600LT doesn’t offer a remote top, so the driver will have to run to the car, get in, turn the ignition on and raise the top to prevent the interior from being damaged.
To help drivers avoid possible obstacles, the DBS has standard cornering lights to illuminate around corners when the turn signals are activated. The 600LT doesn’t offer cornering lights. The DBS also has standard adaptive headlights to illuminate around corners automatically by reading vehicle speed and steering wheel angle.
The DBS’ power mirror controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The 600LT’s power mirror controls are on the dash where they are possibly hidden by the steering wheel and are awkward to manipulate.
Optional air-conditioned seats in the DBS keep the driver and front passenger comfortable and take the sting out of hot seats in Summer. The 600LT doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats.
On extremely cold winter days, the DBS’ optional heated steering wheel provides comfort, allowing the driver to steer safely and comfortably before the car heater warms up. The 600LT doesn’t offer a heated steering wheel.
To help keep the driver’s hands on the wheel, the DBS has standard steering wheel controls for the radio. The 600LT doesn’t offer steering wheel audio controls.
With standard voice command, the DBS offers the driver hands free control of the radio and the navigation computer by simply speaking. The 600LT doesn’t offer a voice control system.
The DBS’ Auto Park Assist can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, with the driver only controlling speed with the brake pedal. The 600LT doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
