Tires and Wheels
The DB11’s 255/40R20 front and 295/35R20 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 40 series front and 35 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Continental GT V8’s standard 45 series front and 40 series rear tires.
Chassis
The Aston Martin DB11 may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 900 to 1200 pounds less than the Bentley Continental GT.
The DB11 is 3.9 inches shorter than the Continental GT, making the DB11 easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.
Cargo Capacity
The DB11 Volante has a much larger trunk with its top down than the Continental GT Convertible (8.5 vs. 6 cubic feet).
Ergonomics
Unlike the driver-only memory system in the Continental GT, the DB11 has standard driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position and outside mirror angle and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.
If the windows are left open on the DB11 the driver can close them all from a distance using the remote. On a hot day the driver can also lower the windows the same way. The driver of the Continental GT can’t use the remote to operate the windows.
To help drivers avoid possible obstacles, the DB11 has standard cornering lights to illuminate around corners when the turn signals are activated. The Continental GT doesn’t offer cornering lights. The DB11 also has standard adaptive headlights to illuminate around corners automatically by reading vehicle speed and steering wheel angle.
