For better stopping power the Quattroporte’s brake rotors are larger than those on the G80:

The Quattroporte’s standard front and rear disc brakes are vented to help dissipate heat for shorter stops with less fading. The rear discs standard on the G80 2.5T are solid, not vented.

For better traction and acceleration, the Quattroporte has larger standard rear tires than the G80 (275/40R19 vs. 245/50R18). The Quattroporte’s optional rear tires are larger than the largest rear tires available on the G80 (285/35R20 vs. 275/40R19).

The Quattroporte’s standard 245/45R19 front and 275/40R19 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 45 series front and 40 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the G80’s standard 50 series tires. The Quattroporte’s optional 245/35R21 front and 285/30R21 rear tires have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile than the G80’s optional 40 series front and 35 series rear tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Quattroporte has standard 19-inch wheels. Smaller 18-inch wheels are standard on the G80. The Quattroporte’s optional 21-inch wheels are larger than the 20-inch wheels optional on the G80.

The Quattroporte’s drift compensation steering can automatically compensate for road conditions which would cause the vehicle to drift from side to side, helping the driver to keep the vehicle straight more easily. The G80 doesn’t offer drift compensation steering.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Quattroporte’s wheelbase is 6.3 inches longer than on the G80 (124.8 inches vs. 118.5 inches).
